In any case, though Rhodey was among the lucky survivors of Avengers: Infinity War, the character’s role in the upcoming sequel remains unclear, though if the film is looking to keep the emotional focus on the Phase 1 Avengers, then perhaps we shouldn’t expect much more than a supporting part for War Machine in whatever plan that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes come up with.
