Spotify has released a major update for its Premium tier that overhauls its radio feature and redesigns its navigation and search on its mobile apps, the company announced in a blog post. The streaming service has streamlined its navigation, and has redesigned its search page with a bigger emphasis on introducing users to new music by placing recommended genres at the top of the page.
The biggest change Spotify made today was to its artist radio feature, which will give users a personalized station — using the same algorithms that make Discover Weekly and Spotify’s other personalized playlists so great — for any artist on song you choose. It’s essentially an endless playlist that’s tailored to you which can also be saved offline....
A few days ago, some concept art made its way online that showed off the new look which Iron Man will be sporting in next year’s Avengers 4. Since then, fans have speculated that this unusual silver and red design may not be the completed version of Stark’s next suit but rather its “under armor.” Either that, or its transitional appearance between nanotech modifications.
And while it still remains to be seen what exactly Tony Stark will be wearing the next time we see him on screen, we’ve now got a great look at what he may be wielding, and it seems as if Marvel’s giving Iron Man a classic weapon that fans are going to go nuts for. Yes, down in the gallery below you’ll be able to lay eyes on the hero’s proton cannon. You may recognize it from the Marvel vs. Capcom video games, and though it’s yet to appear on the big screen, it looks as if it’ll be making its debut in Avengers 4.
Of course, none of this has been confirmed by the studio just yet, but the piece of machinery in the image below certainly looks like the proton cannon and lord knows Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will need all the firepower they can get if they’re to stop the Mad Titan once and for all.
If recent rumors are to be believed, this could very well be Tony Stark’s last chance to wield the weapon, too. After all, Robert Downey Jr.’s contract is now up and there’ve been clues throughout the filming of Spider-Man: Far From Home that Stark’s going to be absent from the MCU by that point. We’ll no doubt get a better idea of what’s going on when that first Avengers 4 trailer drops, but at the moment, it’s sounding like he hasn’t got long left.
In any case, you can look for RDJ’s superhero to take flight once more when the Infinity War sequel blasts into theaters next summer, by which point we should have a much clearer understanding of Joe and Anthony Russo’s master plan and what it means for Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. No pressure, then.
In the world of social media, where the craziest and most unreasonable of opinions can get international exposure, sometimes it can be hard to pick up on a user’s jokey tone from their written words alone. Perhaps that’s one reason why so many fans have yet to work out that directors Anthony and Joe Russo have not actually fired Mark Ruffalo from Avengers 4.
Earlier this month, the star publicly admitted that he accidentally dropped some major spoilers on the Avengers: Infinity War sequel during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, prompting the Russo Brothers to tweet him the message, “Mark, you’re fired.” It was a joke that the filmmaking pair recently continued when they sent the Hulk actor a reminder that he’s “still fired.”
While this crushing fake news left Ruffalo speechless, plenty of fans were all too ready to get mad on Bruce Banner’s behalf, and while you might be willing to give some of these users the benefit of the doubt, it’s clear that not everybody has grasped that this online back-and-forth is all meant in good fun.
@MarkRuffalo they really fired you for that crap, that's such bull. What the hell. Do they not pay attantion to how much Holland almost slipped up and has, but yet 1 mistake for you and they fire you? That's screwed up

This is literally impossible. Marvel is going to lose millions of dollars by firing you. You’re the best hulk that there is and firing you over something so petty is childish.

No no, they can’t fire you, you ARE the hulk, the BEST hulk ever, tell them that
— Kelly (@KellywWilliams3) October 17, 2018
You’re still petty, Russo’s.

Though the episode of Fallon aired with the spoiler bleeped out, audio-savvy Marvel fans have since uncovered that the actor referred to Avengers 4 as The Last Avenger. The legitimacy of this ‘spoiler,’ however, remains up for debate, with the rumored name of Avengers: Annihilation getting a lot more traction in some online circles. When exactly the title will have its official unveiling is unclear for the time being, but with the highly anticipated trailer expected to drop in the next month or two, there’s a good chance that the two major reveals will arrive simultaneously.
There’s still much to be learned about Avengers 4, but at least two things are clear: the film will be hitting theaters on May 3rd, 2019, and Mark Ruffalo has absolutely not been fired.
David Gordon Green’s Halloween went down a storm last month at the highly anticipated slasher sequel’s Toronto International Film Festival premiere, and it seems that the wider critical community is similarly pleased with Michael Myers’ latest outing.
In fact, review-aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes has now declared that the Blumhouse production is officially Certified Fresh, making it the only sequel in this whole franchise to hold the honor. At the time of writing, the new Halloween sits at an impressive score of 87% ‘Fresh’ reviews among a recorded total of 99. To put this percentage into perspective, the 1978 original boasts a superior figure of 93%, but aside from that, the most widely acclaimed entry in the series was previously 1998’s Halloween H20, which holds a middling 52%.
Though critical acclaim rarely ensures commercial success, the latest box office projections also suggest a franchise high for the series, with opening weekend estimates ranging from $50 million to over $70 million against a $10 million budget. Needless to say, a sequel seems all but inevitable.
If you need further convincing that this one’s worth a trip to the cinema, we’ve lately been receiving a generous array of clips from Green’s feature. Just this last week, for instance, has seen the release of a teaser video showing an incarcerated Michael getting a visit from a team of true crime podcasters. Though the killer remains characteristically unresponsive to their queries, the crew does manage to get a strong reaction out of his fellow prisoners when they produce Michael’s famed mask.
Another recent video shows Michael back in his hometown of Haddonfield, where he doesn’t get the warmest of welcomes from Laurie Strode. The clip ends with Jamie Lee Curtis’ character trying to shoot her old assailant, who manages to quietly slip away.
We’ll see what else this much-hyped horror film has to offer when Halloween hits theaters on October 19th.
