Ezra Miller thanking James Gunn at ‘The Flash’ premiere may give us a hint at their DCU future
After remaining wholly out of the spotlight for the past year or so, Ezra Miller re-emerged in public in a big way this week thanks to their appearance at the world premiere of The Flash, a movie that’s long been plagued by unwanted associations with Miller’s much-publicized battles with their mental health which has led to numerous troubles with the law and a significant deflating of their reputation.
When giving a speech to the crowd at the premiere, a clearly emotional Miller thanked many people who had helped them on their road to becoming the Flash, including directors Zack Snyder and Andy Muschietti. Most intriguingly for fans, however, Miller also made sure to shout out to DC Studios CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran.

‘That was a scary time’: Chris Hemsworth reflects on the aftermath of Jeremy Renner’s accident
If certain things had gone just a little differently, we’d be mourning Jeremy Renner. On New Year’s Day 2023, the Hawkeye star was driving his snowplow when it began to skid on some ice. He realized his nephew might be in the path of the plow and stepped out of the cab to check.
This fateful decision resulted in his being crushed by the vehicle, leaving him with more than 30 broken bones (including a cracked skull), a collapsed skull, and a pierced liver. Renner was rushed to hospital in critical condition and very nearly died. Fortunately, doctors put him back together, though he now has multiple titanium rods holding his skeleton together, has had reconstructive facial surgery, and is undergoing hours of physiotherapy and painful gym workouts to regain mobility.

This unexpected ‘Star Wars’ archaeological discovery was met with the only correct reaction
It’s coming up to a full half-century since Star Wars exploded into theaters and became an enduring global phenomenon. Those original fans are now deep into middle age and one of them has just made a surprising discovery in their backyard. Twitter user @bhdonkey revealed that he’s now taken over his family home and was doing some irrigation work in the backyard when he found a lost Sith secret.
It was something dark, something evil, that perhaps should have remained buried for all time. Yup, it’s good old Emperor Palpatine, who’s been entombed in the dirt for 35 long years. Sheev is looking pretty good all things considered, though one fan piped up with what’s clearly the only appropriate response:
