The Jump Street franchise remains in stasis for the time being, which is a crying shame when the series had almost limitless potential to keep dropping Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill’s undercover cops into ridiculous situations.

Sure, it was revealed not too long ago that the female-driven spinoff Now For Her Pleasure was moving forward behind the scenes, but the project has been in the works since late 2016, and it hasn’t even come close to getting in front of cameras.

Recent blockbuster sequel Fast & Furious 9 was the first installment in almost two decades that didn’t feature Chris Morgan on the writing team, although the veteran scribe is back to pen the concluding tenth and eleventh chapters.

Instead, Daniel Casey took sole credit on what turned out to be one of the pandemic’s biggest box office hits, and he’s remaining in the high concept action genre for the time being. As per The Hollywood Reporter, Sophie Turner and Dane DeHaan have signed on to lead Wardriver, which Casey is also directing.

‘Eternals’ star ‘humiliated’ herself for a scene that was cut from the movie

Eternals may have been about immortal aliens dealing with the very serious business of saving the world, but that didn’t stop the cast from sharing plenty of hilarious offscreen moments. For Lia McHugh, there was a particularly embarrassing moment with co-star Angelina Jolie that’s still causing her secondhand embarrassment.

The 17 year-old actress portrayed Sprite, an Eternal who projects lifelike illusions, and also has the permanent appearance of a child, despite being much, much older. In a recent conversation with CinemaBlend, McHugh revealed the very funny moment she filmed with Jolie, which didn’t even make the final cut of the movie:
