Amazon puts new Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods delivery customers on waitlist amid surging demand

New customers signing up for Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods Market home delivery will now need to make it through a waitlist before they can order groceries. Amazon announced the new procedure yesterday, adding that the company is “increasing capacity each week and will invite new customers to shop every week.” Select Whole Foods locations will have store hours adjusted “to focus exclusively on fulfilling online grocery orders during this time,” and Amazon notes that its own full-fledged grocery store is now open in Woodland Hills, California, but is solely focused on online orders and delivery for now.

Delivery windows for Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market have been increasingly difficult to secure during the COVID-19 pandemic, and...

T’Challa Will Reportedly Get Married To [SPOILERS] In Black Panther 3

Despite the character’s solo debut becoming the most successful entry in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that wasn’t an Avengers movie, many fans feel that Black Panther was sidelined during the events of Infinity War and Endgame. Wakanda may have been a featured location during the former’s third act, but T’Challa was reduced to a foot-soldier among the ensemble cast, and didn’t appear again until Endgame’s climactic battle.

We won’t be seeing Black Panther again until Phase Five, and even that’s subject to speculation that Marvel could be laying the foundations for Shuri to eventually step up and inherit the mantle as per comic book history, something that Chadwick Boseman reportedly isn’t best pleased about. But now we’ve heard that another story that originated in the pages of Marvel Comics could be set to play a major part in the eventual third Black Panther movie.

According to our sources – the same ones who told us the Guardians of the Galaxy will cameo in Thor: Love and Thunder and that Taskmaster would be the villain in Black Widow – Storm will be among the first X-Men to be introduced into the MCU, specifically to build to her and T’Challa crossing paths and eventually developing a relationship. This will lead to the two getting married in Black Panther 3, much like they did in 2006 in the pages of Black Panther Vol. 4, and the prospect of domestic bliss will see the king pass on ownership of his costumed alter-ego to Shuri, establishing her as Wakanda’s new protector.

Of course, the vast majority of what happens in the MCU has a basis in comic book history and this would serve as an avenue to introduce one of the newly-acquired Fox characters into the universe as well as giving us an all-superhero wedding, which would be one hell of a party. As always plans can certainly change as things develop, but for right now, this is the arc that the studio is planning to have T’Challa travel down and while it’s unclear when exactly he’ll first meet Storm, the idea at the moment is to have them eventually marry, at which point Chadwick Boseman’s hero will pass on the Black Panther mantle to Shuri.

Oppo’s Ace 2 is its first phone with wireless charging

Oppo has announced its first ever phone with wireless charging. The Ace 2 is the follow-up to last year’s Reno Ace, which still holds the record for the world’s fastest wired charging system in a shipping phone, but drops the “Reno” brand name. (Which is probably for the best, because that lineup was getting impossible to keep track of.)

Oppo is jumping feet-first into the wireless-charging waters, too, with a 40W “AirVOOC” system that should be as fast as anything on the market. (Huawei’s P40 Pro also has 40W wireless charging, while Samsung’s fastest solution is 15W and Apple’s is just 7.5W.) Wired charging on the Ace 2 is class-leading as well, with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 when using the bundled cable and adapter.

Apple redesigning iPhone this year with flat sides and smaller notch, says report

Photo by Amelia Holowaty Krales / The Verge

Bloomberg has published a new report detailing much of Apple’s product roadmap for 2020, including the four new iPhones that have been widely rumored. Corroborating Ming-chi Kuo’s analysis from last year, Apple is said to be redesigning the iPhone Pro chassis with flat edges reminiscent of the current iPad Pro. Kuo claimed the screen glass would still be slightly curved, while Bloomberg says it’ll be flat.

Bloomberg reports that there will be two iPhone Pro models with three cameras on the back and that they will feature the new iPad Pro’s LIDAR 3D-scanning system — it’s not clear whether that will take the place of one of the iPhone 11 Pro’s existing three cameras, though. It’s also unclear whether the boxy redesign will come to the...

Don Cheadle Might Be Done As War Machine In The MCU

Though he never received his own solo movie, over the last decade, Colonel James Rhodes has easily become one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most important supporting characters. Aside from just being Tony Stark’s friend, confidant and conscience in the Iron Man films, we’ve also seen him in three Avengers movies, Captain America: Civil War and also in Captain Marvel’s post-credits scene.

Given his ties to the military, government, S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers, War Machine can easily make his way into any of the MCU’s standalone franchises and it wouldn’t be too difficult to find a role for him to play, but despite Cheadle always doing a good job with the part, it isn’t like there’s been a big cry for any sort of spinoff or standalone film for the character.

While whispers of a War Machine series for Disney Plus have surfaced here and there, nothing official has been announced just yet. And this week, we learned something that may just end the idea of a Rhodey vehicle once and for all.

In a recent interview, Cheadle revealed that he signed on for six Marvel movies when he first joined the MCU, saying:

“I was actually at my kid’s birthday party—a laser tag party—and I got a call from my agent, and they said, ‘Hey, so I want to connect you to these Marvel guys. They want to talk to you, but they want to offer you the part.’ I don’t think it was [Kevin] Feige. I don’t know who was on the phone. But they said, ‘Hey, this is the role. We want you to do this. It’s a six-picture deal.’ I was like, ‘What?! Oh, uh, okay…’ And I’m trying to do the math. I’m like, ‘That’s 11 or 12 years. I’m not sure.’ And they’re like, ‘Well, we need to know, because if you’re not saying yes, then we’re gonna move on to the next person. So you’ve got an hour.’

Seeing as the actor has already appeared in Iron Man 2Iron Man 3Age of UltronCivil WarInfinity War and Endgame, that means his current contract would be expired and his time as War Machine technically at its end, as that’s six movies right there (not counting Captain Marvel‘s post-credits scene). However, it’s entirely possible that he’s extended his contract to include the aforementioned, rumored Disney Plus series.

It’s not like he’d be the first MCU actor to do so and when you think about it, a solo show may be a good idea, as it could dive deeper into the man inside the suit since we still don’t really know a lot about Rhodey. But again, the cry for a War Machine project hasn’t been that loud and until we hear something official from Marvel, all we can really do is wait and see.

Tell us, though, would you tune in for a series focused on Cheadle’s character? Let us know down below.
