Even generous action addicts can’t defend a tasteless shoot ’em up from one of history’s worst directors

When your name is synonymous entirely with sh*tty movies, nobody goes in expecting cinematic greatness. Of course, Uwe Boll could not care less what you’ve got to say about his output, with the filmmaker largely regarded as one of the worst directors in the history of cinema even taking to the boxing ring on occasion to literally fight his detractors. Even then, the most forgiving of genre junkies have been left aghast by just how tasteless his 2009 feature Rampage remains to this day.
The plot basically finds Brendan Fletcher’s Bill Williamson tool up, throw on his best body armor, and indulge his revenge-fueled fantasy by going on a killing spree. That’s the entire gist of the film, which even went on to get a pair of sequels – with Rampage: Capital Punishment and Rampage: President Down delivering a great deal more of the same.

An astonishingly unforgettable war epic heads deep behind enemy lines on streaming

Every single motion picture has been conceived and created with the intention of being an unforgettable experience, but it’s a status that very few have ever managed to attain. There are some things that will never leave your memory once you’ve seen them, though, and the opening scene of Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan fits the bill and then some.
It wouldn’t be a stretch of the imagination or even remotely hyperbolic to call the extended D-Day set piece one of the single greatest scenes ever committed to celluloid, but it’s arguably even more remarkable that the classic war epic never dips in quality until the credits fade to black after the last of its monumental 169 minutes.

MCU theory hopes ‘Wonder Man’ will finally answer an unresolved ‘WandaVision’ mystery

The Marvel Cinematic Universe doesn’t deal in unresolved plot points and abandoned story threads, but sometimes it takes an awfully long time for them to be resolved. It’s been almost two years since WandaVision kicked off the franchise’s expansion into episodic storytelling, and yet there’s one mystery above all that fans have been demanding an answer to.
Randall Park’s Jimmy Woo was initially drawn to Westview by a missing person case related to federal witness protection, only to find himself caught up in a situation that threatened to tear apart the very fabric of reality. During the show’s run, countless theories made the rounds as to who it could potentially be, only for WandaVision to reveal… absolutely nothing.

Horror fans hungry to feast on the long-rumored zombie sequel they’ve been waiting for

Legendary director Danny Boyle has teased that there may be a third film on the way, making his 2002 zombie classic into a trilogy. Boyle directed Cillian Murphy to his breakout role with the zombie thriller 28 Days Later which was released way back in 2002. Now, to celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary, Boyle has offered some hope for a third film after years of fans wondering what will happen.
28 Days Later saw Murphy’s character, Jim, wake up from a coma only to discover that England had been ravaged by a zombie outbreak. The film was a huge critical success, but it still took another five years before its sequel 28 Weeks Later made it onto the screen. The film was directed instead by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo with a different cast, and the cliffhanger ending showed saw that the Rage virus had crossed the pond to France, essentially damning the continent.
