‘Dune’ production designer reveals ‘Part One’ originally ended later in the story

Dune walked away with six Oscars at the 94th Academy Awards, winning for cinematography, editing, score, visual effects, production design, and sound. This puts a capstone on the ambitious science-fiction epic’s success, following it picking up rave reviews and a very healthy box office.

Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures quickly greenlit Dune: Part Two, which will conclude the story of Frank Herbert’s classic science-fiction novel and show Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides truly becoming the Muad’Dib.

‘The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special’ set photos tease a return to Earth

James Gunn and the Guardians of the Galaxy cast are currently hard at work on the delayed but highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. This will wrap up the story that began in 2017’s Guardians of the Galaxy, with all that have seen the script describing it as a tear-jerker.

We won’t see Vol. 3 until summer 2023, though before that comes Disney Plus exclusive The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which is being shot at the same time. Now we have some set pictures (via The Direct) that may prove very illuminating to the story.

Ray Fisher wants Warner Bros. to apologize after ‘Justice League’ Oscar win

Nobody expected Zack Snyder to walk away with two Oscars at the 94th Academy Awards, but it happened. Though he wasn’t nominated in the traditional categories Army of the Dead triumphed in the inaugural “Fan Favorite” category and Zack Snyder’s Justice League picked up the “Oscars Cheer” award for the Flash entering the Speed Force.

This raised some eyebrows as the two awards were widely considered a sop to those still upset that Spider-Man: No Way Home didn’t pick up a Best Picture nomination, though it seems the MCU fanbase simply didn’t turn up to vote and the Snyder fans did.
