New Plot Details Tease A Wild Adventure For Men In Black: International
By reboot standards, the internet is responding very well to what we’ve seen so far of Men in Black: International, but if you’re looking for a better idea of what to expect from the franchise’s first entry since 2012’s Men in Black 3, producer Walter Parkes has shared a few more details with Entertainment Weekly.
As you may have seen from the film’s first trailer, Tessa Thompson’s Agent M is recruited into MIB after tracking down the organization herself. Agent O, played by Emma Thompson, sees potential in this newcomer, and sends her to London where they fear the agency has been compromised by a mole.
It’s here that Agent M teams up with Agent H, played by Tessa Thompson’s Thor: Ragnarok co-star Chris Hemsworth, and according to Parkes, H is “known as one of the greatest to ever wear the suit” but has “fallen on some hard times.” Matters are made worse when an alien emissary is killed on H’s watch, sending the pair on a mission to identify the killer.
Parkes also teases some of the extraterrestrial characters to expect. As well as the Worm Aliens from Men in Black II making a return, Kumail Nanjiani of Silicon Valley and The Big Sick fame plays “a new alien sidekick” named Pawny, who’s described as “the last survivor of an alien race that had been hiding out on Earth disguised as a chess set, and he has some major self-esteem issues.”
As for the possibility of Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones making cameos, the EW piece advises that you don’t hold your breath, but at the very least, we’ll see how Thompson and Hemsworth fare in their absence when Men in Black: International hits theaters on June 14th, 2019.

Zack Snyder Shares Batman V Superman Ultimate Edition Poster Featuring Wonder Woman
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice helmsman Zack Snyder has taken to Vero to share a hi-res version of a poster for the film’s Ultimate Edition, which sees a certain Diana Prince stood between the two title characters.
The extended home release edition of the 2016 film remains a key reason why a lot of fans are still clamoring for the fabled ‘Snyder cut’ of the subsequent Justice League, with the Ultimate Edition earning a significantly warmer reception from viewers than the critically panned, heavily trimmed version that made it to theaters. But regardless of how you feel about either cut, it must be said that this is a pretty nice design, suggesting the mythic grandeur that the DCEU’s Snyder years often aimed for, though didn’t always reach.
As it stands, these three heroes all look to have very different futures under Warner Bros., though it’s hard to say what’s going on these days with the character of Clark Kent. After hearing multiple reports that Henry Cavill was stepping down from the role of Superman, Aquaman star Jason Momoa insisted last month that this was “absolutely not” the case, though it’s unclear where Superman could make his return in the DCEU’s current schedule.
As for Bruce Wayne, it seems that Ben Affleck’s run in the role may already be over, but we expect to see a younger actor playing the Caped Crusader in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. For actress Gal Gadot, however, things look to be going pretty swimmingly as Diana, with Wonder Woman 1984 set for release on June 5th, 2020. From the sound of things, Bruce and Diana’s next stories should take them far away from the events of their DCEU debuts in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it’s clear that a lot of fans still hold a place in their heart for this divisive picture.

John Cho Thinks Star Trek 4 Will Still Happen
Things aren’t looking too good right now for Star Trek 4, with Deadline reporting earlier this week that the S.J. Clarkson-helmed follow-up to 2016’s Star Trek Beyond has been shelved indefinitely. But while it could be a very long wait before the franchise returns to theaters, Sulu actor John Cho hasn’t given up hope just yet.
Maybe Entertainment Tonight just caught the star in a good mood when they asked him about the future of the franchise. After all, the actor was in the midst of walking the red carpet for the second annual LA Online Film Critics Society Awards Ceremony, where he was set to be the first recipient of the new LAFOCS Acting Achievement Award. But whatever the reason, it seems that Cho is staying optimistic about the sequel’s chances, telling the publication:
“I certainly am down. To be honest, it’s not happening right now as far as I know, but I just think it will happen. Somebody, at some point, we’ll all get on the same page and do it. That’s my belief, maybe I’m being optimistic.”
Given how busy the TV side of Star Trek is right now, it seems almost inevitable that the franchise will find its way back to the big screen eventually, but whether it will still be a continuation of the series that started with 2009’s Star Trek is another question entirely.
Among the obstacles faced by Star Trek 4 is the departure of Chris Pine, who may have told Variety back in September that he’d “love to be involved” in the sequel, but the relative silence since then sends a clear message that he and the studio have yet to work out their disagreements. Nonetheless, this isn’t the first time Cho has argued that the project might still get out of its rut, and it may not be the last time, either, but as the cast and crew moves on to other projects, fans may have trouble holding onto their hopes.

Mark Hamill Trolls Fans Again Over Star Wars: Episode IX Title
The Twitter account of Mark Hamill is pretty much the last place you want to go to for reliable intel on the upcoming Star Wars: Episode IX, but so long as the fans keep asking questions, the actor will keep finding new opportunities to mess with his followers.
The latest incident came in response to a user who tagged Hamill in a tweet that read, “if they don’t release the title of the film soon, I’m just gonna to have to get it out of [Mark Hamill] myself.” Never one to cave to demands for spoilers, the star responded with a title card announcing the name of the film to be “Star Wars: Episode IX: Thank U, Next.”
For those of you who haven’t been keeping track of Hamill’s various Twitter shenanigans, this one may take a little explaining. Hamill’s fondness for the phrase “Thank U, Next” all began last year when he tweeted the line at the request of his followers, unaware that this was actually the name of a hit single from Ariana Grande.
Since then, Hamill has done a little research on the platinum-selling singer, later saying that he predicts “a very bright future for this young lady” after watching the video for “Thank U, Next.” Along the way, Hamill’s interest in the work and career of Grande has been a source of much delight for his fans, none more so than the singer herself, who upon reading Hamill’s prediction, replied that she was “gonna go sob in a corner and watch all your movies again now.”
But going back to the original question of the film’s official title, it’s a very popular prediction right now that we’ll find out by the end of the month, but regardless of what these next few weeks will bring, you can expect Hamil’s trolling to continue until Star Wars: Episode IX hits theaters on December 20th, 2019.
