‘Fast X’ director teases sneaky ‘Back to the Future’ Easter Egg

Fast X is so close we can practically smell the gasoline, and ahead of the film’s general release, Director Louis Leterrier spoke about the little time travel Easter egg he managed to sneak into the film.

Leterrier sat down with Collider to discuss the tenth movie in the seemingly never-ending Fast and Furious franchise. The director discussed what it was like to direct the grand conclusion as well as his decision to include a nod to the Back to the Future franchise by featuring a DeLorean Alpha 5 prototype. The car is a more updated model than the version most fans are used to seeing from the classic ‘80s franchise.

Filming has clearly begun on its latest do-over with real people, as the cast and crew were spotted filming in Hawaii. Someone was even able to capture a video of one particular scene being filmed.

Said insiders then had to eat a heaping helping of humble pie when Snyder announced that Zack Snyder’s Justice League would indeed become a reality, and that he was getting a sizeable budget to complete a four-hour cut. Yet more humiliation came when the new cut turned out to be a huge improvement on the original.
