Apple’s AirPods Pro are on sale for $200 at Staples
Staples is running an incredible sale on Apple’s AirPods Pro earbuds, bringing the retail price down to $200, or $50 off its usual $250 price tag. This the best deal we have seen yet for Apple’s flagship true wireless earbuds.
Unlike its sibling, the AirPods, which has a hard plastic “one size fits most” design, the AirPods Pro design is an in-ear construction and with silicone tips, which included three different sizes to provide a customizable fit for your ears. The AirPods Pro also include active noise cancellation, better sound quality, and a wireless charging case. If you are an Apple user, my colleague Chris Welch thinks the AirPods Pro are the best wireless earbuds worth your money.
The deal is available until August 1st, but we...

Vikings and Game of Thrones Stars Join Cast Of Netflix Thriller Night Teeth
Together, Vikings and Game of Thrones are two of the most popular television series ever made. It’s easy to understand why based on their premises alone. One tells the story of a clan of Nordic warriors, the other of the political intrigue brewing between a group of vindictive royal families.
Now, the best of both series may be coming together as Vikings actor Alexander Ludwig will be teaming up with Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen to star in a Netflix thriller film called Night Teeth. Although little is yet known about the film, the inclusion of these two cast members alone promises greatness.
In case you do not exactly who’s who when it comes to shows and series – something which is completely understandable considering both Vikings and Game of Thrones feature hundreds of characters – here’s a little recap. As far as the History Channel show is concerned, Ludwig plays none other than Bjorn Ironside. Allen, by contrast, plays Theon, a prince from the Iron Islands.
Night Teeth will follow a chauffeur who picks up two elusive women for a night of non-stop partying in the City of Angels. This straightforward task turns regrettably complicated when he figures out who his customers really are. As he drives down into the underworld, he must soon fight for his own survival.
Although it is unknown who Ludwig and Allen will be playing in this film, Deadline reported that the chauffeur will be played Jorge Lendeborg Jr., who starred in Bumblebee. The actor will be joined by Bryan Batt (Mad Men), Marlene Forte (Knives Out), Debby Ryan (Insatiable), Lucy Fry (Bright) and Raúl Castillo (Looking).
Are you excited to see Night Teeth? Let us know in the comments!

Illustrator Envisions What America’s Superheroes Have Been Up To During Quarantine
Employers often like to tell you that busy schedules and tight deadlines boost resourcefulness and creativity. While this may be true, the same could be said for boredom. Over the course of the coronavirus-induced quarantine, some artists have made due with their limitations while others used the extra time at hand to pursue their passion projects.
For one example, look no further than America’s extensive roster of late night shows. From Trevor Noah to Jimmy Fallon, hosts have taken to airing the shows from the comfort of their living rooms. Commentaries are delivered in a more personal setting, and assistance is delivered by the star’s own family and kids. It makes for an original and authentic experience to say the least.
In the realm of visual art, painters and draftsman have been incorporating the ramifications of the pandemic into their own work. One of them, John Euclid, created renditions of what the world’s most famous superheroes do with their time when they have to stay inside and cannot practice their regular nighttime jobs of being vigilantes. Spoilers, some fair better than others.
For starters, Batman would be in jail. In Euclid’s illustration, the Caped Crusader can be seen clutching the bars and crying as he yells he’s got nothing to do with the state of the world. The composition is a funny one, considering that many believe the virus originated from a certain species of bats. Poor Bruce.
The Flash, meanwhile, is making use of his talents to assist the common man. With no crime to fight, the person who can run at the speed of light has found employment as a delivery guy. Rather than working for Seamless, Uber Eats, Caviar or any of the other million-or-so companies, the sprinter has founded his own service. Smart move.
Check out Euclid’s other superheroes on his twitter page!

Netflix Users Only Consume 2% Of Its Content In A Given Year
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by all of the streaming content at your fingertips? I know I do. There’s been many nights where I peruse Netflix and spend a solid hour trying to decide what to watch. But how much content is actually on Netflix and how much do you watch in a given year? Our friends over at Reviews.org went ahead and found out.
Currently, there are 36,667 hours of content available to watch on the streaming platform as of today. To provide better context, it would take someone more than four years to consume all of those movies and television continuously.
In reality, the average viewer only watches roughly 2% of Netflix’s content in a given year or 733 hours. But keep in mind that the streaming giant’s library changes on a daily basis. So while 2% might seem miniscule and make you question whether or not you should pay for a subscription, the main takeaway is how much Netflix has to offer.
At the moment, they have more than 5,400 unique titles in its library. By comparison, Disney Plus has 744 and Hulu 2,657. Netflix is essentially lapping the competition therefore curating a never-ending stream of content.
And that’s co-CEO Reed Hastings’ ultimate goal. Dominate the market so customers never worry about finding something new to watch. And now they’re just getting into franchises with the success of both Extraction and The Old Guard. Who knows where they’ll be in five years.
It’s all about the original content at this point. Netflix is no longer the only game in town. With the arrival of HBO Max recently and Peacock launching last week, that 2% might actually go down with so many competitors despite an uptick in viewership thanks to the pandemic. But Netflix isn’t worried one bit. They were first in this new era of media consumption therefore they’ve built a brand that will never die.

Zack Snyder Reveals Justice League Teaser Trailer Release Date
It’s been a whirlwind couple of months for DC fans, ever since it was announced that the Justice League Snyder Cut is actually being released on HBO Max next year. Following the announcement, we’ve received a brief clip which featured Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and teased the coming of Darkseid (see above), as well as a quick look at Superman in his black suit, but that’s all the footage we’ve got a glimpse of to date. That will change next month, however, as Zack Snyder has now confirmed that a teaser trailer is on the way.
During the Spotlight on Zack Snyder panel at today’s Justice Con, the filmmaker promised that the trailer will hit the web on August 22nd, in just under one month’s time. It will be released as part of DC’s FanDome event, a major virtual convention at which WB is expected to drop a ton of big news about their upcoming movies and TV shows. The Snyder Cut is one of the most talked-about DC projects on the docket, even if it isn’t a cinematic release, so it’s no surprise we’ll be getting something new from the event.
We don’t know much else about this trailer, though, including its length. Snyder described it as a teaser trailer, which suggests it won’t be 2-3 minutes long, as a full trailer would be, but perhaps it could stretch somewhere between 1-1.5 minutes. Presumably, the Wonder Woman/Darkseid clip will be included in the promo and we’ll probably get another look at black suit Superman, too.
But what else could be showcased in the teaser? Could we get a glimpse at a Green Lantern at last? Or maybe Harry Lennix’s Martian Manhunter? Or even new footage of Ben Affleck as Batman? That one seems likely, but we’ll know more next month when the Justice League Snyder Cut trailer arrives.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan Jokes That Michael Keaton Stole His Gig In The Flash
Ever since Jeffrey Dean Morgan turned up as Thomas Wayne in the opening scene of Batman V Superman, DC fans have been keeping their fingers crossed that he could return as the Flashpoint Batman in The Flash movie. That possibility hasn’t been officially ruled out, but a surprising recent twist put Morgan’s role in doubt – Michael Keaton is in talks to return as his version of Bruce Wayne from the 80s/90s Tim Burton films. And presumably, The Flash ain’t big enough for two Batmen.
When asked about whether he could still appear in the Scarlet Speedster’s solo movie by ComicBook.com, Morgan had the perfect response. The Walking Dead star joked that Keaton has swooped in with his cape and stolen his gig.
“Michael Keaton swooped in and took my gig,” Morgan joked. “Naw, I think that’s super cool. Ever since Zack Snyder walked away, my whole kind of bit in that world has walked away with him. However, there’s always a chat going on. So, we’ll see!”
On a more serious note, Morgan’s probably onto something about his opportunities for future DCEU appearances drying up as the franchise has started moving away from Zack Snyder’s overall vision. The recent entries in the series have been pretty keen to distance themselves from those earlier, darker films. That said, we’re of course getting Snyder’s Justice League on HBO Max next year, so Morgan’s right not to give up hope.
As for The Flash, it seems like the movie will be a loose adaptation of the comic book event. In the source material, Barry Allen changes the past and finds that he’s completely transformed the future into an alternate, dystopian timeline, where Thomas Wayne became Batman after the death of his son. In the film, from what we know, he’ll encounter Keaton’s Batman instead as the timeline and the multiverse goes out of sync.
The Flash is currently scheduled for release in June 2022, but do you think getting Keaton back is a good enough swap for Morgan? Have your say in the comments below.

Solo Hulk Film Will Reportedly Be A Prequel, Will Show Smart Hulk Transformation
According to sources close to WGTC – the same ones who told us a She-Hulk show is coming to Disney Plus and that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier would be delayed – Marvel is in early development on a standalone Hulk movie, having apparently worked out the rights issues surrounding the character, and it’ll supposedly be a prequel that centers on Bruce Banner’s mastery of Smart Hulk.
Smart Hulk, for the record, is what people have been calling the version of the Hulk as he appears in last year’s Avengers: Endgame. Remember the shock of seeing this green monster, who heretofore had been a dim-witted force of death and destruction, dressed in everyday clothes, sporting glasses and actually speaking well-articulated sentences?
This was quite the transformation, arguably the biggest that Banner ever carried out. And yet, for whatever reason, we saw none of it. The last time we met the character, in Avengers: Infinity War, he was afraid of and pretty much incapable of transforming into his monster form. This fear, in turn, came from being stuck inside his humongous body for several years leading up to the events of Thor: Ragnarok.
In Endgame, the introduction of Smart Hulk is played mostly for laughs. As Banner explains, he simply stopped fighting the scary green giant inside of him. As a matter of fact, he actually started to love his alter ego, which he had always considered a curse. The best of both words, he called it.
How this enigmatic combination was achieved would certainly make for quite the story, and according to our sources, it’s precisely what Marvel will be exploring next. From what we understand, the character’s solo film will be set both in between Infinity War and Endgame, as well as a bit after the latter movie, with a time jump set to be used to push the story forward. It will, however, remain in the past in relation to the current MCU timeline and, like we said above, be a prequel.
Tell us, though, what do you want to see from a solo Hulk film? Let us know in the comments section below.
