Fans hoping to catch unpredictable Asian giants Pakistan in action against Sri Lanka in the ICC World Cup game at the Bristol County Ground on Friday might be in for some disappointment as met department is predicting a wet and gloomy day.
After two wins in as many matches Australia have come to the second spot in the ICC Cricket World Cup Points Table. West Indies, despite Thursday's loss are at the third spot.
The County Ground in Bristol, the home of the English county, Gloucestershire, will host its second match (Pakistan vs Sri Lanka) of the 2019 World Cup on Friday, 7th June.
Carlos Brathwaite said the West Indies were on the wrong end of too much poor umpiring following a 15-run World Cup defeat by champions Australia as Michael Holding slammed an "atrocious" display by the match officials.
Pakistan vs Sri Lanka in the ICC World Cup 2019 on June 7 (Friday) will be broadcast on the Star Sports network and Live streaming will be available on Hotstar. The match will be played at Bristol County Ground, Bristol and will begin at 1500 HRS IST. (SL vs PAK Live).

Among the many leaks revealed by UK newspaper The Independent, one of the most intriguing is the addition of Belova as a potential foil for ScarJo’s Natasha Romanoff.
For those unfamiliar with the character, after receiving the same training as Romanoff, Belova also used the name Black Widow for her spy activities. She often disagreed with Romanoff though over how they should use their abilities, as well as appearing on different sides of the battle between good and evil in the Marvel Comics Universe. As Black Widow will most likely include scenes focusing on Romanoff’s early life, we may see her facing off against Belova in the Red Room academy.
If “Roger Wardell,” the source behind these leaks is to be believed, Florence Pugh has beaten other contenders such as Emma Watson to the role. That’d certainly make sense, as she already has experience acting as a spy in the TV series The Little Drummer Girl, and will be the anchor behind the soon-to-be-released Midsommar from Ari Aster.
Other casting speculation points to a role for Rachel Weisz, as well as Hellboy and Stranger Things actor David Harbour. We could also see answers to what happened to Hawkeye and Black Widow in Budapest, as well as some scenes taking place after Avengers: Infinity War.
All things considered, we imagine Black Widow will be taking a similar approach to Captain Marvel, flashing back to develop a largely unseen part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie will also give ScarJo a suitable showcase for her talents after being arguably overshadowed by the fate of Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame.
As for when it’ll be with us, Black Widow is thought to be on the slate for a May 2020 release as part of the MCU’s Phase Four. Marvel’s Black Widow, which is scheduled to hit theaters some time in 2020, has officially moved into production. However, the film’s still very much an unknown quantity. More importantly, those in charge don’t seem to be in any hurry to elaborate on the specifics.
Even so, there’ve been several rumors surrounding the project. One frequently debated idea is that the action will take place between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, which is something of a gap in the MCU’s current timeline.
Then, there are some purporting that the first solo outing for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s original femme fatale will happen in an alternate universe and is a way to re-insert the character back into the series.
The most popular and prominent theory, though, posits that the movie will be another period piece and act as an origin story for the only female founding Avenger. Specifically, reports point to the 1990s for the timeframe, with the story possibly detailing Natasha’s first encounter with her future best friend, Clint Barton.
Now, more fuel has been added to the fire as recently released set photos which you can see here seemingly confirm that the film is set during the 90s. Interestingly, one pic features Scarlet Johansson standing next to a LADA Niva, a Russian model SUV. The particular model, the VAZ-2131, was only produced during the mid-90s.
This isn’t definitive proof, by any means, and any of the previously mentioned theories could end up being true. But, the fact that the such an era-specific vehicle is being used certainly does lend some credence to the rumors that Black Widow will take place, at least in part, during the 1990s.
Given the success of Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody, we may now see a lot more music biopics. One intriguing idea is a take on the life of David Bowie, with Rocketman producer Matthew Vaughn apparently interested in building off the praise for the Elton John movie.
In an interview with ScreenRant, Vaughn was enthusiastic about the prospect of bringing Bowie’s life to the big screen, saying:
“If I was allowed to direct a movie about David Bowie, that would be my dream come true. It’s Bowie. His music is second to none. No, equal to Elton.”
Bowie certainly has a fascinating life story, and a catalogue of songs that would translate well to on-screen interpretation. A take on his life titled Stardust is reportedly already being made though, focusing on the early years of the performer’s life. Vaughn doesn’t seem keen on this idea, however, remarking:
“Doing a movie about Bowie without the music sounds f–king stupid to me, but maybe that’s just me being a bit cynical.”
Treating Bowie’s life in the same way as Rocketman or Bohemian Rhapsody might not be the best approach, though. For one, Bowie was a charismatic actor who arguably already played versions of himself in films like Nicolas Roeg’s The Man Who Fell to Earth, not to mention his many roles in Labyrinth, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and others.
One filmmaker who will likely steer clear of any biopic is Bowie’s own son, Moon and Warcraft director Duncan Jones. On Twitter, Jones addressed rumours in a somewhat playful way:

What might work better than the treatment seen in recent music biopics is the style adopted by Todd Haynes for I’m Not There, where the life of Bob Dylan is told with multiple actors. This approach would certainly be in keeping with Bowie’s chameleonic personality, while Dylan actor Tilda Swinton is a good shout for playing the musician. Whatever happens, Matthew Vaughn’s future seems to be tied up for the moment with the Kingsman franchise, which will be keeping him busy for the next little while.

The Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker trailer confirmed that Emperor Palpatine will be making his shock return in Episode IX, leaving fans scrambling to theorize ways that he could be back after Darth Vader threw the Sith Lord to his doom in Return of the Jedi. It’s intriguing to note, then, that a Star Wars novel published just days after the trailer was released back in April might foretell his resurrection.
Credit to Reddit user Franzman86 for highlighting this significant passage in Claudia Grey’s Master & Apprentice. In it, Qui-Gon Jinn discovers a prophecy that reads: “He who learns to conquer death will through his greatest student live again.”

The original poster believed this could be a tease that Darth Plagueis might be set to make a comeback in some form of Star Wars media – after all, he’s the one who’s said to have mastered the art of resurrection. Meanwhile, another user offered that it could apply, more metaphorically, to Luke Skywalker, passing on his knowledge to Rey and living on through her.
However, perhaps the juiciest interpretation of the prophecy is that it somehow refers to Palpatine. A recent theory suggested that Snoke was taught by Darth Sidious himself, with the villain’s Force ghost training Snoke up to command the First Order and continue his work. Assuming for a moment that this is correct, Snoke could be the “greatest student” the prophecy refers to.
Of course, the prophecy might be referring to both Plagueis and Palpatine. It’s an old theory that the latter was actually the apprentice of the former, and it was Palpatine who murdered his master in his sleep. If you believe this idea, the Emperor could have learned the trick to immortality too, thereby explaining his return in Episode IX.
Either way, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will reveal all when it hits cinemas on December 20th.
