New Eternals Merch Teases The Arrival Of Black Knight
The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Eternals might be based on a relatively obscure comic book property that most casual audiences won’t be familiar with, but the same could have been said about Guardians of the Galaxy, and we all know how that turned out in the end.
One exciting addition to the ensemble that may have gone over the heads of those unfamiliar with the source material is Kit Harington’s Dane Whitman, a mere mortal who isn’t an all-powerful alien like the rest of his co-stars. As fans know, the character goes on to become the third iteration of Black Knight, but so far there’s not even been the merest hint from any of the marketing or promotional materials that we’ll be seeing his alter ego in Eternals.

Shang-Chi Director Reveals The Hero Almost Had A Monstrous Brother
At its heart, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is a story about a family driven apart and then ultimately forced back together under much different circumstances by the same tragedy, albeit one with explosive action sequences, mystical MacGuffins and plenty of CGI bombast.
Tony Leung’s Wenwu only became harder on his children following the death of their mother, with Simu Liu’s title hero and Meng’er Zhang’s Xia Xialing reacting to the loss by fleeing to opposite ends of the world to start a new life away from their overbearing and power-hungry old man.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage Director Teases Trilogy Plans
Sony will be rubbing their hands in glee looking at the early numbers for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which is in with a genuine shot of landing the single highest-grossing opening weekend of the pandemic era. That’s a phenomenal return for a movie that’s been delayed many times, so it won’t be too long before a third installment gets the green light.
After all, the sequel was officially announced a little over a month after Ruben Fleischer’s Venom exploded into theaters, and Tom Hardy has already made it abundantly clear that he’s massively invested in the franchise. The star, producer and co-writer is arguably the biggest creative driving force behind the franchise having taken a much more hands-on role second time out, but director Andy Serkis also acquits himself well.

Daredevil Reboot Rumors Have Fans Demanding The Punisher
One of the many social media traps people fall into is taking rumor and speculation as fact, which often leads to a hypothetical wildfire spreading across the internet that folks interpret as gospel, even if there may or may not be even the slightest shred of truth to the information.
Last night saw Marvel Cinematic Universe fans rejoicing as they celebrated Charlie Cox officially returning to the MCU as Daredevil to headline a brand new season of television on Disney Plus. The only problem is that the image was custom-created to accompany an unsubstantiated claim from insider Daniel Richtman, in what marks just the latest dialogue in the never-ending chatter regarding a comeback for Netflix’s Man Without Fear.

Halloween Kills Director Says Shooting Michael Myers’ Mask Is A Challenge
We’re less than three weeks away from the release of Halloween Kills, which is coming to theaters and streaming simultaneously, a somewhat divisive call that’s since been defended by producer Jason Blum. The sequel’s chances of matching its predecessor’s $255 million box office haul have evaporated thanks to the hybrid release, but it should at least lead to an uptick in new Peacock signups.
The middle chapter of the trilogy hasn’t been greeted anywhere near as enthusiastically as the 2018 opener, but it’s still the highest-rated sequel in the franchise’s history on Rotten Tomatoes. The general consensus is that Halloween Kills lives up to its moniker by upping the body count significantly, but director David Gordon Green admitted that filming those gratuitous deaths is often a challenge.

The MonsterVerse Confirmed Loch Ness Monster As A Titan
Scotland’s most famous mythological creature has long since become a part of the public consciousness, with intrepid monster hunters dedicating their entire lives to discovering the beast dwelling in the depth of Loch Ness, while it even yielded a fairly terrible 1996 family film starring Ted Danson as a skeptical scientist.
For decades, the debate about whether or not Nessie is real has raged on, even if many purported ‘sightings’ have been debunked as hoaxes. The scientific community obviously isn’t buying it, but the monster has been a massive boon for tourism in the local area, with gift shops and museums dotted around Loch Ness.

Marvel Confirms Eternals Will Be Split Across 2 Time Periods
The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming cosmic epic Eternals is one of the franchise’s most ambitious projects to date; a sprawling saga spanning several thousand millennia that needs to introduce a dozen new characters, establish their motivations, explain why they’ve spent so long hiding in the shadows and set them up as the newest super team on the block.
All of the promotional materials we’ve seen so far have been light on specifics, but they’ve shed more light on how the disparate plot threads come together. Picking up in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, the Eternals will be forced to reconcile their differences with each other and battle the Deviants, their arch-nemeses who look to cause havoc on a planet mourning the loss of several of its most high-profile defenders.

Daniel Craig Say Making Quantum Of Solace Was A Sh*t Show
The infamous Writers Guild of America strike put Quantum of Solace into a very difficult position, with longtime James Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson admitting they were screwed from the outset after production and release deadlines forced them to start shooting Daniel Craig’s second outing as 007 without a finished script.
Production was then dogged by rumors of behind the scenes disagreements between the leading man and director Marc Forster, with the filmmaker revealing that he struggled making the jump from intimate independent dramas to a $200 million blockbuster.

James Wan Responds To Stephen King’s Praise Of Malignant
As the architect of two multi-billion dollar horror properties, not to mention his status as the only person other than James Cameron to have directed a pair of movies from different franchises that earned ten figures apiece at the box office, it would be an understatement to call James Wan a major player in Hollywood.
The co-creator of Saw and Insidious, the architect of The Conjuring Universe, director of Fast & Furious 7 and Aquaman, producer of the Mortal Kombat reboot, the upcoming Salem’s Lot remake and more; Wan’s filmography is comparable to any of Hollywood’s biggest names when it comes to sustained commercial success.

Jerry Seinfeld Apologizes For Bee Movie’s Sexual Subtext
DreamWorks Animation’s Bee Movie is notable for several reasons, none of which have to do with the quality of the movie. Critically and commercially, it was about as middle of the road as it gets; the family film netted a decent box office haul of $293 million and a bang average Rotten Tomatoes score of 49%, so it wasn’t a smash hit or a flop.
It isn’t even noteworthy for being the one and only time Jerry Seinfeld has ever played a major role in any kind of feature. No, Bee Movie has endured as an internet favorite for almost fifteen years because of the memes. Several screengrabs have become staples of meme culture and videos speeding up or slowing down the trailer for no apparent reason went viral with increasing regularity, while people have constantly mocked the idea that a large part of the plot revolves around the implication a human woman wants to have sex with a bee.

James Gunn Addresses Star-Lord Ever Returning To Earth Again
James Gunn is currently in the final stretch of pre-production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, with cameras set to start rolling before the end of the year. The filmmaker has confirmed that it’ll be his last time directing a movie starring the motley crew of thieves, petty criminals and now universe-saving heroes, while Dave Bautista is also bowing out as Drax.
That would indicate that the Guardians have reached the end of an era, but there are still plenty of stories to be told involving Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana’s Gamora or Karen Gillan’s Nebula, so they could be sticking around the Marvel Cinematic Universe at large for a while to come.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage Director Says It Wouldn’t Have Been Ready For Original Release Date
Like the overwhelming majority of Hollywood blockbusters, Venom: Let There Be Carnage was rag-dolled around the release calendar as the theatrical industry was forced to constantly reshuffle the deck as it reacted to the pandemic.
Tom Hardy’s second outing as Eddie Brock was initially scheduled for October 2, 2020 before ultimately arriving 364 days later. Prior to that, it was pushed to June 25, September 17, September 25 and October 15, although the success of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings saw Sony move Let There Be Carnage up by two weeks.
