He was visibly elated as he is finally finding his feet in international cricket.
Pakistan's head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq has hit back at criticism of the under-performing national team, saying he does not have a magic wand to revive its fortunes instantly and will step aside if he fails to deliver after some time.
However, the last Boxing Day Test saw India win by 137 runs and the Shield games before the abandoned clash had no trouble either.
Former New Zealand captain and the country's all-time leading Test scorer Stephen Fleming has backed Ross Taylor to replace him at the top of the list during their upcoming Test series against Australia.

Since making his Test debut for India against Australia at Melbourne in December 2018, Mayank Agarwal has come a long way. He’s now nine Tests old with an average of 67.07, has three centuries to his name and a high score of 243.
Over the years Alam has been consistent in his performances domestically, however has always been ignored which has given birth to conspiracy theories of ulterior motives.
The Sri Lankan squad landed in Islamabad on Monday, December 9 to take part in the two Test series against Pakistan, which starts on Wednesday in Rawalpindi.
In fact, India scored only 38 runs in the last five overs after Shivam Dube's 54 off 30 balls provided a platform for final assault.
They also admitted the same charge in relation to players taking part in the Bangladesh Premier League between November 2016 and December 2016.
Like his captain Virat Kohli said, Dube believes that it was poor fielding in the early part of the Windies chase that saw the game slip away.
The CSA has been busy fighting multiple fires but du Plessis insisted that he’d rather see cricket take centre stage.
At that time Wasim headed the committee which included Misbah-ul-Haq, who is now head coach-cum-chief selector, and fast bowling great Wasim Akram.
He hit another that looked destined to sail over the ropes for a third consecutive six but Kohli, who was standing at long-on, sprinted to his right, threw himself in the air and caught the ball.

The free update brings long-awaited features such as Photoshop (ABR) brush import, custom brush creation, CMYK mode, and more robust animation features.
The app runs on a new Valkyrie graphics engine that works with Apple’s Metal API for faster performance on the iPad. With Valkyrie, Savage Interactive says the imported ABR brushes paint faster in Procreate 5 than in Photoshop. That’s something that’s going to make a difference for artists when they’re choosing which drawing app to use on the iPad, especially on the heels of Adobe’s Photoshop for the iPad, which received disappointing reviews when it was released last month....
In the midst of a busy weekend packed with major CCXP reveals, Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs. Kong managed to get the fans hyped with little more than two seconds of grainy leaked footage.
Since attendees of the Brazil convention are technically forbidden from taping the presentations, Warner Bros. has already started pulling down videos from social media. Nonetheless, at the time of writing, one Twitter GIF survives, which shows the star of 2017’s Kong: Skull Island throwing a punch at his atomic-breathed foe.
It’s not much, but the online response seems fairly optimistic so far, and right now, Godzilla vs. Kong could use all the hype it can get. As you may recall, this year’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters was supposed to serve as an important stepping stone to the eventual crossover clash. After the movie’s underwhelming box office performance, however, you have to imagine the bosses at Warner got a little nervous.

It therefore came as no surprise to recently hear that Godzilla vs. Kong has now been delayed eight months. The news was even foreshadowed back in June by Warner Bros. Studio chairman Toby Emmerich, who told Deadline they were considering pushing back the film’s release to ensure they could deliver “an A+ movie” that will be more in line with what the fans are asking for.
What’s interesting about Godzilla’s two MonsterVerse outings to date is that while both films received a mixed response from fans and critics, just about everyone agreed that the trailers were pretty great. With that in mind, you may want to approach the marketing for Godzilla vs. Kong with a dose of healthy skepticism, but we’ll find out if the film is as big as Emmerich hopes when it arrives in theaters on November 20th, 2020.
The first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 is finally here! Fans have been waiting to see more of Diana of Themyscira for two whole years now, with November 2017’s Justice League being her last outing, but Gal Gadot’s Amazonian warrior is at last set to return in 2020 with her very own sequel.
The preview, which dropped a few hours ago, offered our first look at Wondy back in action and her fans can’t get enough of it. Honestly, if the movie was just two hours of “lasso goodness,” we’d all be happy.

I mean, just look at this shot. Like Diana says in the trailer, “it’s all art.”

A real highlight for folks is the unveiling of Wonder Woman in her full Golden Eagle armor. Though the suit has been teased in a poster before now, and WGTC first told you she’d be wearing it months ago, we hadn’t seen her with the helmet on until today. But the result is MAJESTIC.

Hey, look, even Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld is a fan of the WW84 trailer!

Diana’s love story with Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor was one of the best parts of the first film, and DC fans are already getting misty-eyed that the brave WWI pilot is somehow back again for the sequel. They finally have more time.

Of course, the trailer also reveals Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva, who’s destined to become the villainous Cheetah. It appears that she’s from the Jim Carrey’s Riddler/Jamie Foxx’s Electro school of supervillainy and will begin as a geeky uber-fan before turning to the dark side.
What’s more, Pedro Pascal’s Maxwell Lord is up to no good. He even seems to be responsible for Steve’s impossible resurrection. In fact, it looks like Wonder Woman 1984‘s big theme is “be careful what you wish for.”
A recent fan theory made a good argument that there might be a cool little familial secret at the heart of the MCU. An eagle-eyed fan noticed that Laura Haddock, who plays Peter Quill/Star-Lord’s mother Meredith Quill in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, also appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger. In that film, she has a small walk-on role as a woman who makes flirtatious eye contact with Rogers as he embarks on his USO tour to promote morale.
And is it really so difficult to believe that the two might have then gotten together that very night? If that happened, she might’ve even gotten pregnant with Rogers’ baby and if that were the case, then Steve Rogers could have unknowingly been Peter Quill’s grandfather all along. This wouldn’t necessarily mean anything to either character’s story, but it would certainly have been a neat little Easter Egg for fans to theorize over for years to come.
Sadly, however, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has stepped in to confirm that this speculation is off base, saying:
Sorry to bust this fun theory, but it doesn't work as Meredith Quill's father is a major character played by @GreggHenry88 in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1 and appears briefly in Vol 2. https://t.co/5Jgshez3Np

Nuts. Well, at least it’s a good indication that James Gunn has a firm handle on the Guardians of the Galaxy. After the kerfuffle in 2018 that saw the director apparently fired and then re-instated to Vol. 3, he’s set to conclude their story as soon as he’s finished The Suicide Squad. Right now, we don’t have an exact release date, but given that the latter film is scheduled to drop in 2021, I’d expect the final installment of everyone’s favorite smart-mouthed, soft-rock loving space adventurers to hit theaters sometime in 2022 at the earliest.
All we know for certain about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 though is that, according to Nebula actress Karen Gillan, the script is amazing. Here’s what she shared in a recent interview:
“I can say that I’ve read it and it’s amazing. We’re all really excited that James is back to complete the trilogy because it wouldn’t have felt right without him. It’s a wonderful, wonderful script.”
Count me in!
