Twitter has begun testing a feature that will give you a shortcut to quickly switch between the latest and “top” tweets. Announcing the beginning of the trial, the @Twitter account said that a small number of users would see the new button, which gives fast access to functionality buried deep within the app’s settings menu. The company first said it was working on the feature back in September.
If you’re included in the trial you’ll see a new icon on the top right of the iOS app. Tapping it will give you an option to “Switch to latest Tweets” or “Switch to top Tweets,” allowing you to see your timeline organised in chronological order or by Twitter’s algorithm.

Trials for AI lie detection at border patrol checkpoints are set to begin soon in the EU. The program, called iBorderCtrl, will run for six months at four border crossing points in Hungary, Latvia and Greece with countries outside the European Union, as reported by Gizmodo.

As you’ve surely heard, Captain Marvel‘s blistering first teaser trailer racked up more views in 24 hours than both Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther – two billion-dollar hits to come out of Marvel Studios in the past three years. As you can see, what we have here is an international promo and as far as we can tell, it’s just a condensed, recut version of the original trailer, with no new footage to feast on (though correct us if we’re wrong). Still, you can’t deny it’s another exciting tease that spotlights the MCU’s most powerful hero.
It also serves as a pointed reminder that Carol Danvers is about to become the franchise’s new figurehead in Phase 4 and beyond. Which is just as well, after Chris Evans announced his retirement as Captain America a few weeks back. So long, Cap; hello Captain Marvel!
