Black Adam Producer Teases Connections To The DCEU Multiverse
The multiverse is the next big storytelling gambit for both of Hollywood’s marquee superhero franchises, with WandaVision and Loki getting the ball rolling for Marvel Studios, before Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness blow the doors off their hinges.
Over at DC Films, it’ll be a while before the concept of alternate realities are brought to the forefront with The Flash not releasing until November of 2022, but it should hopefully be more than worth the wait when we get to see Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck both starring as Batman in the same movie.

Red Notice Director Says Hulk Vs. Wolverine Is His Dream Project
When it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe rumor mill, few names have cropped up as often as Wolverine and the Hulk both together and apart, which is strange when you consider their respective statuses.
Bruce Banner’s big green alter ego is regularly rumored for a solo movie, even though Marvel Studios still can’t legally make one without Universal’s involvement, while Hugh Jackman continues to find himself touted for cameos in everything from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to Deadpool 3, never mind the chatter that a rebooted Logan is one of the MCU’s top priorities.

Netflix’s The Division Movie Will Finally Start Shooting Next Year
Tom Clancy’s The Division first hit consoles in March 2016, and a feature film adaptation of the game has been in development for almost as long, with some big names remaining attached to star throughout the lengthy process, even if the talent behind the camera has been shuffled drastically more than once.
Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain signed on five years ago, but during that time both Stephen Gaghan and David Leitch agreed to direct before exiting swiftly afterwards. However, Skyscraper and Red Notice‘s Rawson Marshall Thurber became the third name to sign on earlier this year, and he remains committed to the project.

The Internet Disagrees With Lady Gaga’s House Of Gucci Accent Assessment
Based on the early reactions, we can expect Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci to be one of the most polarizing would-be prestige dramas of the year when it comes to theaters in two weeks.
Following the red carpet premiere of the sensationalized true-life story, critics were fawning over the film and lauding it as an instant front-runner in the Academy Awards race. However, just as many people deemed it to exist at the complete opposite end of the spectrum, instead touting House of Gucci as a potential Razzie contender.

Highlander Fans Can’t Believe The Reboot Is Actually Shooting Next Year
A reboot of cult classic Highlander has been in development for so long, with so many names coming and going during that period, that a lot of fans will simply refuse to believe that it’s actually becoming a reality until cameras are officially rolling.
That’s completely understandable when you remember that Iron Man writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway were first tasked with cracking the script back in 2008, with Justin Lin eying the director’s chair. Twilight‘s Melissa Rosenberg took a pass at the screenplay three years later, before Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and Cedric Nicolas-Troyan signed on to helm Highlander before dropping out.

Black Adam Producer Explains Why Superman Would Be A Tough Battle
Ever since Dwayne Johnson’s long-held passion project Black Adam finally escaped the clutches of development hell and made it into production, we’ve been inundated with rumors that Henry Cavill’s Superman is poised to drop by for a cameo to set up an epic superhero showdown in the future.
While we can’t categorically deny that it’ll happen, we won’t know for sure until next summer when Black Adam explodes into theaters, because a surprise of that magnitude would be much better served being kept under wraps. Producer Hiram Garcia has also teased a Wonder Woman crossover, though, which arguably makes more sense given that we know Diana Prince is an active part of the DCEU, something that sadly can’t be said for Cavill’s Kryptonian.

Twitter Swoons Over Michael B. Jordan’s Creed III Training Video
Michael B. Jordan’s ascent up the Hollywood ladder has seen him become busier than ever, especially now that he’s moved into producing and directing. How he even finds the time to hit the gym is impressive in itself when you look at the wall-to-wall projects lining his schedule, but the internet is certainly glad that he did.
The 34 year-old is currently gearing up to make his feature debut behind the camera on Creed III, which marks the first installment in the expanded Rocky franchise that won’t feature Sylvester Stallone’s Italian Stallion. Jonathan Majors is the only other name announced for the ensemble, so we can expect a pair of powerhouse performances and an epic slugfest at the very least, even if Sly won’t be around.

Andrew Garfield Praises Kevin Feige, Who He Definitely Hasn’t Worked For
Andrew Garfield has been hit harder than most by the unending speculation that he’s set to return as a multiversal Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Tom Holland is sticking to the party line that he’s the only web-slinging superhero in the movie, while Tobey Maguire hasn’t been in a movie for seven years, so it’s not as if he’s out there giving a ton of interviews on the press circuit. Garfield, however, has been promoting The Eyes of Tammy Faye and now Tick, Tick.. Boom!, where the lines of inquiry always and inevitably circle back to Spider-Man.

Rumor Watch: Did Dwayne Johnson Push For Black Adam R-Rating?
The murky world of inside scoops and so-called “exclusives” tends to be vague at the best of times, especially when the slice of scuttlebutt in question is often a broad, sweeping blanket statement that can’t be proven either true or false.
A case in point is the latest rumor from Giant Freakin Robot, which claims that Dwayne Johnson wanted Black Adam to come burdened with an R-rating, but Warner Bros. wouldn’t play ball. Of course, this flies in the face of other chatter from different places that offered The Rock was making the movie exactly the way he wanted and there was nothing the studio could do about it.

Tom Cruise Rumored For MCU Role, But The Internet Isn’t Convinced
Tom Cruise has remained one of the biggest movie stars on the planet for the last 35 years, which is an incredible achievement in itself, but it’s all the more remarkable when you consider that he’s managed to maintain A-list longevity without dipping his toes into franchise-infested waters all that often.
Obviously, he’s got his seventh and eighth outings as Ethan Hunt coming in the next couple of years should Mission: Impossible 7 and 8 arrive without any more delays, while his return as Pete Mitchell in Top Gun: Maverick is finally set for release next summer. Outside of that, though, Jack Reacher is the only other role he’s ever played more than once.
