Volkswagen’s ID Space Vizzion is an electric wagon that goes 300 miles
The newest addition to Volkswagen’s forthcoming lineup of electric vehicles was just revealed at the 2019 LA Auto Show, and it’s an EV wagon called ID Space Vizzion. Shown off in concept form only, VW is saying the eventual production version will squeeze 300 miles of EPA-estimated range out of an 82kWh battery, though the company has not run the vehicle through any real EPA testing yet. VW said it may come to the United States in 2022.
The ID Space Vizzion is, perhaps unsurprisingly, a more spacious variant of the ID Vizzion sedan concept VW showed off at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Sitting on massive 22-inch wheels, the car measures 195.2 inches in length — a good 10 inches longer than the 2020 Tiguan SUV, and nearly as long as the...

Audi reveals its second electric car, the E-Tron Sportback
Audi just pulled the wraps off of the E-Tron Sportback, the company’s second electric car, at the 2019 LA Auto Show. Coming to Europe in the first half of 2020, the top-tier version of the new premium EV will offer up to 446 kilometers of range (277 miles) and is powered by dual electric motors with a total power output of 265kW, or around 350 horsepower. A slightly less powerful version of the Sportback with a smaller battery will start at €71,350 (around $79,000).
If some of those numbers sound familiar, it’s because the E-Tron Sportback will be built using the same electric drivetrain and battery as the E-Tron SUV Audi revealed last year. The company is simply now using the platform it developed for the original E-Tron to power a...

It: Chapter Two Writer Says There Are A Lot More Pennywise Stories To Tell
The It series will undoubtedly be remembered as containing two of the scariest movies of this generation. It’s just such a shame that the storyline had to end with It: Chapter Two, as it feels like there’s so much more of Pennywise’s evil antics left to explore. Fans don’t want it to be over, the cast doesn’t want it to be over and (given the massive amount of money the first two films made) the studio doesn’t want it to be over, either.
In Hollywood nowadays, it’s common to develop countless spinoffs and sequels pertaining to a popular franchise until the public gets sick of them and while there’s nothing currently in the works to extend the It series, the screenwriter behind the flicks thinks there’s enough material there to make these ideas into a reality.
In Gary Dauberman’s own words:
“I do think it’s possible. Anything in the Stephen King Universe interests me but there’s only so much of the story we could tell in the two movies. There are definitely elements of the novel you could expand on and make its own movie. It’s just a question of whether or not people want to see it but I do think It was on this planet for a very, very, very long time and that’s a lot of bloodshed and a lot of stories to tell and I think you could do that for sure.”
Clearly, spinoffs to this popular series are on everyone’s mind. The fact that Dauberman has never outright denied the possibility means he’s game to pen scripts if asked. Studios should be throwing money at this man, too, urging him to make more Pennywise material. The public is obviously interested in more from the killer clown and the sooner production starts on the next installment, the better.
The first two films have gone on to gross over $1 billion worldwide, smashing all kinds of records on their way to the top. Bill Skarsgård’s iconic portrayal of titular villain is now widely regarded as one of the most horrific and recognizable horror performances of all-time, too. As such, a large part of ensuring that a spinoff’s financially successful would be making sure that he reprises his role as the terrifying clown.
Tell us, though, do you want to see a follow-up/spinoff in the It franchise, or are you happy that the series has run its course? Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think!

EW Star Wars Covers Bring Three Generations Together
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker marks the conclusion of the Skywalker Saga, and to commemorate its incoming release, Entertainment Weekly is running an extensive cover story on the movie. As for the covers, specifically, the three collector’s editions each showcase one of the three Star Wars trilogies that make up the whole nine-episode storyline.
Cover 1 spotlights the Prequel Trilogy (The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith), featuring Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Sidious and Darth Maul. Cover 2 then, focuses on the Original Trilogy. Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, C-3PO, R2D2 and Wicket the Ewok star on this one.
Last but not least, the Sequel Trilogy (The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and TROS) is highlighted on cover 3, with the cast of TROS appearing. So, that’s Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, Rose Tico and BB-8. Newcomers Jannah and D-O stand alongside the familiar faces as well.
Check out the covers for yourself in the gallery below:
Seeing the stars of all three trilogies brought together like this reminds you just how much is resting on Rise‘s shoulders. Not only does it have to bring the Sequel Trilogy and its narratives to a climax, but it also has to put a bow on the entire journey that the franchise has gone on ever since Leia sent the droids to Tatooine in A New Hope. I certainly don’t envy J.J. Abrams with the tough job he has in serving up a satisfying ending.
Because inevitably, he won’t be able to please all the fans out there. In fact, the divisive reactions to pretty much all the Disney era Star Wars movies tells us that. But fingers crossed The Rise of Skywalker will manage to satiate many of us and leave us with the feeling that the saga has at least been tied together with some style.

Lucasfilm Doesn’t Think George Lucas Will Ever Return To Star Wars
Given the incredibly polarizing reactions to recent Star Wars movies, with The Last Jedi and Solo being particularly singled out for criticism by fans, some people are holding out hope that George Lucas will eventually return to the fold and regain control of the franchise he started over 40 years ago.
There’ve been rumors that Lucas has been heavily involved in reshoots for the upcoming Rise of Skywalker, leading to speculation that he’ll once again become involved with Star Wars in an official capacity. However, let’s not forget that the filmmaker came under heavy fire himself for the Prequel Trilogy, which suffered from a massive over-reliance on CGI at the expense of the practical effects that sci-fi series was famous for, not to mention some of the worst dialogue ever to be found in a Hollywood blockbuster.
The cyclical nature of the movie business means that popular brands will always be repurposed to appeal to new audiences, but the constantly-growing nostalgia market also means that if fans don’t like the product that’s being given to them, they’ll hold out hope for one of the key members of the original creative team to return in the hopes that it will return to former glories. It didn’t work with James Cameron on Terminator: Dark Fate, and it may not work with the Snyder Cut of Justice League, either.
Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy was recently asked though if she thought that George Lucas would ever return to the Star Wars franchise at some point in the future, and she seemed pretty clear in her answer.
“I doubt it. But listen, I think that would be fantastic, if he would be interested in doing that again. But I doubt it.”
Lucas sold his studio to Disney for $4 billion several years ago, and having created one of the most enduring and popular brands in entertainment, the guy has earned the right to do whatever he wants. Bringing him back to Star Wars would only be taking a step backwards, and it’s doubtful that the multi-billionaire would have any interest in returning, either.
