MCU fans float their inspired suggestions for spinoffs that have nothing to do with the Multiverse Saga
Fans are getting a little tired of the Multiverse Saga, especially after the underwhelming performance of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. While many are calling for the MCU to slow down and focus more on individual stories, some have gone a step further and pitched their own ideas.
On Reddit, fans were asked what movies or TV shows they would want to see if they didn’t have to tie into the multiverse or the wider MCU. They started the ball rolling with their own dream spinoff; a show centered around WandaVision’s Jimmy Woo and Darcy Lewis as they investigate more superhuman anomalies.

‘Quantumania’ star addresses fan reactions to the MCU’s latest divisive offering
It’s safe to say Marvel Studios didn’t want to start Phase 5 like this. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has opened to some of the worst reviews the MCU has ever gotten, ending up at just 48 percent on the Tomatometer. Less than two weeks on from release and it’s sitting at $363 million at the box office, which is great for an Ant-Man movie, but disappointing for the franchise in general.
Complaints have ranged from a confusing story that sidelines its hero, shoddy CGI (M.O.D.O.K. instantly became a meme), and Jonathan Majors’ new big bad Kang not being a patch on Thanos, but at least the widespread criticism doesn’t seem to have brought star Kathryn Newton down.

A star-studded mystery thriller with one of the dumbest twists in history grabs onto a streaming lifeline
There would be a lot less bad movies in the world if the names involved in creating a project were always guaranteed to deliver something worthy of the accolades they’d racked up over the course of their respective careers. On the other hand, if that were the case, we wouldn’t end up with such stupendously bad curios as 2019’s Serenity.
Written and directed by Academy Award-nominated Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, the cast saw Oscar-winning duo Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey take top billing amongst an ensemble that also boasted three-time Golden Globe nominee Diane Lane, two-time Oscar nominee Djimon Honsou, future Golden Globe and Emmy victor Jeremy Strong, and the ever-reliable Jason Clarke.
