As far as MCU promotion goes, today very much belongs to Spider-Man: Far From Home, with the film’s long-awaited first trailer finally dropping this morning, closely followed by the international trailer along with the movie’s first official poster. That being said, in case there’s anyone out there who needs reminding that Avengers: Endgame still has to arrive before Peter Parker’s next solo outing does, Marvel’s official Instagram has uploaded a new video to mark one hundred days until the release of the Avengers: Infinity War sequel.
Footage-wise, you won’t find anything new here, with the 11-second promo flashing only brief images of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as the words “100 DAYS” appear in a purple font that inevitably brings to mind a certain Mad Titan. Evidently, the big release day is getting kind of close now, but if three-and-a-bit months still sounds like a long wait to you, then bear in mind that we seem to be moving into a pretty eventful period for MCU promotion.
Of course, for these next couple of months, you can expect much of the focus to be on Captain Marvel, which is set to kick off Marvel’s cinematic run for 2019 when it arrives in theaters on March 8th. But while we’ve already seen a fair amount of footage from Carol Danvers’ big screen debut and even have a pretty good idea of what to expect from Far From Home, a lot fans are currently looking to the next Endgame trailer in the hope that it’ll offer just a little clarification on the adventure to come.
Estimates of when the next preview for Marvel’s Phase 3 finale will arrive have ranged from the 53rd Super Bowl on February 3rd, to Oscar night on February 24th, to some time in March, but one date we can be sure of is the release of Avengers: Endgame on April 26th.
