Batman is feeling a little camera shy in this newly shared clip from the Justice League cutting room floor, in which Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader wrecks a Gotham City Police Department surveillance camera by throwing what looks to be a Batarang.
Whether or not this footage was the work of Zack Snyder or part of Joss Whedon’s reshoots is unclear, with the video receiving several replies from fans who suspect it’s the latter, but perhaps it’s appropriate that the moment didn’t make it into the final cut, since the Dark Knight clearly doesn’t want to be filmed.

In the thirteen-plus months since Justice League came out to mixed reviews and underwhelming box office figures, unused material has continued to make its way online, teasing fans with clues of the movie that could’ve been. Indeed, the fabled ‘Snyder cut’ of Justice League remains an ongoing source of debate and speculation, with Aquaman star Jason Momoa admitting just last month he too is “obsessed” with this hypothetical version of the film.
As for Bruce Wayne, perhaps it’s for the best that he doesn’t want the cameras on him, since it may be a while yet before we see him back on our screens, and when he does return, he’ll probably look like a whole other person. If reports from last year are anything to go by, then Matt Reeves’ The Batman will serve as a soft reboot for the character, exploring the Dark Knight’s younger days with a new actor in the role.
Hopefully this year can bring some concrete news on Bruce’s next solo outing, but in the meantime, you can expect the unused Justice League material to keep on coming.
