New Avengers 4 Plot Synopsis Teases A Turning Point For The MCU

Though the Road to Avengers 4 art book looks to be getting its release a little too late to offer any advanced spoilers, we do already have access to its synopsis, which teases the movie to come in the vaguest of terms.

The product’s Amazon description reads as follows:

“The fourth installment in the Avengers saga will be the culmination of 22 interconnected films and will let audiences witness the turning point of this epic journey. This collectible volume features art from films leading up to this thrilling event, including additional behind-the-scenes art, interviews, and photography from Avengers: Infinity War.”

Much of this seems to be taken from another tentative synopsis released earlier this year, which also added that “Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is, and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.” Naturally, Marvel Studios have been careful to keep the details to a minimum, but if any theorists can see any potential giveaways in this imagery of turning points and a fragile reality, then have at it.

Presumably, Road to Avengers 4 isn’t the final title of this book, just as Avengers 4 isn’t the official title of the movie. So far, the internet has offered a variety of rumors and guesses for what this Avengers: Infinity War sequel will actually be called, with “Avengers: Annihilation” proving to be a particularly popular candidate this month. With the feature’s highly anticipated first trailer expected to drop before the year’s out though, we can only hope that it’ll bring this major reveal with it.

In the meantime, since even the stars of this flick seem unsure of the movie’s content, fans have largely been relying on leaked imagery for intel, with the big unveiling this past week being the first pic of Gwyneth Paltrow in her Rescue suit. No doubt the book will provide plenty more behind-the-scenes context to Avengers 4 when it comes out on May 7th, 2019, just four days after the film itself hits theaters on May 3rd.
