Marvel Studios has just unveiled a new pair of Avengers: Endgame posters, created by artist Matt Ferguson for Odeon Cinemas.
The two designs boast a striking black, white and red color scheme that may remind you of the various flashbacks in the film’s trailers. At the same time, the backdrop of the Avengers Compound might call to mind the massive fight that’s heavily rumored to take place at the HQ.
The two images also put an array of MCU stars on display. In the first artwork, we have Phase 1 players Captain America, Thor and Hawkeye alongside Captain Marvel and Okoye. And in the second poster, we see Iron Man, Black Widow, Bruce Banner, War Machine, Rocket and Nebula. And in case you needed a reminder of what Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are fighting for, both images feature a big Avengers logo that looks like it’s in the process of being snapped out of existence.
Interestingly, the second poster has Bruce wearing the Hulkbuster armor, much like we saw in Avengers: Infinity War. While it’s possible that the artist is simply drawing inspiration from last year’s release, we’ve seen enough promo art by now to be confident that the suit will factor somehow in next week’s release. That being said, it also feels safe to assume that Banner will eventually overcome his transformation difficulties. It’s even been a popular prediction in recent months that the character will resolve his inner conflict by blending his two sides into the Professor Hulk persona.
That’s just one example of the many theories that have been making the rounds for the past year, but all will be revealed when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
