Another app has abused the iOS enterprise certificate in order to bypass Apple’s App Store rules, security researchers at Lookout announced on Monday. The app is called Assistenza SIM and it could steal a user’s contacts, videos, photos, and real-time location data, as reported by TechCrunch. It could also tap people’s phone calls remotely.
After researchers contacted Apple, the company revoked the app’s enterprise certificate, making it impossible to install it on an iOS device. The enterprise certificate allowed the Assistenza app to bypass Apple certification and stay accessible for downloads through phishing sites outside the App Store.

Matt Smith Looks Creepy As Charles Manson On New Charlie Says Poster
2019 is set to be a big year when it comes to seeing Charles Manson in cinemas. This month, for instance, The Haunting of Sharon Tate touched down and has Ben Mellish in the role opposite Hilary Duff as the killer’s most famous victim. But that’s not all, as soon we’ll see Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which will feature Damon Herriman’s take on the figure when it drops in July. And in between, we’ve got Charlie Says, which is headed for cinemas on May 17th.
The movie had its premiere back in the fall at the Venice Film Festival, and since then, the critics have been pretty mixed on it. As it stands, Charlie Says sits at 44% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 9 reviews, with many feeling that Matt Smith is miscast as the titular murderer. Nonetheless, the marketing campaign continues on and below, you can feast your eyes on the very first poster for the flick.
Featuring the former Doctor Who star quite prominently, it’s a creepy look at what’s sure to be an unnerving viewing experience that promises to bring us “a provocative new perspective on one of the most notorious crimes of the 20th century.”
Though the critics haven’t been too kind to Smith thus far, if you look at his previous work on stage, it’s actually easy to see why he was cast here. If you’ll recall, he once portrayed Patrick Bateman, as played by Christian Bale in the movie version, in the American Psycho musical, showing us that he can bring to life an unhinged psychopath. Plus, there’s also the fact that he’s just an insanely talented actor who easily slips into any role he takes on.
With that in mind, we’re definitely curious to see him as Charles Manson in Charlie Says, which will be with us in just over a month, as it reaches theaters on May 17th.

For years, horror fans have flocked from all over the country to spend a weekend getaway at the original Camp Crystal Lake in New Jersey. Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco was the site for the 1980 slasher Friday the 13th and has hosted annual overnight experiences with the original cast members in the decades since its initial release.
Now, diehard horror savants can finally go a step further this summer. The spooky site of Friday the 13th VI: Jason Lives, noted as being one of the most critically acclaimed movies in the franchise since the original, will open its doors for a few days for those looking to immerse themselves in the film that redefined Jason Voorhees forever.
On Set Cinema is hosting a bone-chilling weekend at Hard Labor Creek State Park in Rutledge, GA from August 9th through the 11th. For $150, guests will be able to bunk in the cabins seen in the movie while partaking in many classic camp activities. There will be bonfires, swimming, canoeing, s’mores and plenty of scary flicks on VHS.
The sixth installment of the franchise has long been considered one of the most formative of the long-running slasher series. Jason’s resurrection from the dead via electricity marked the first time the undead serial killer was given near superhuman powers. This is a trend that would become a staple of all subsequent Friday the 13th movies, up until the 2009 remake of the original.
Of course, the weekend wouldn’t be complete without a big screen showing of Friday the 13th VI: Jason Lives, and while the full event schedule is expected to be released soon, the trip already sounds like a blast for any diehard fan of the iconic franchise.
