At this point, you can find countless videos of Marvel stars online goofing around on set, but we have bad news for people obsessed with these superheroes; there’s apparently an embarrassing video clip of Chris Evans’ co-actors in Captain America: Civil War dancing that we may never get to see.

During a recent interview between Captain America’s Chris Evans and Ant-Man star Paul Rudd, the former revealed a fun behind-the-scenes story about how he attempted to create a Marvel dance video montage but failed to go all the way through with it.

“On that day, it was literally the day I met you, Mackie and I and Scarlett got in our head that we were going to shoot — this is so hilarious — a little video just for the Marvel gang, like a little culmination, like a yearbook video, set to that song from Grease,” Evans revealed. “‘We go together, like rama lama,’ whatever that song is. We were just going to go around, take little clips of videos of people dancing, and cut it all together.

The first day I was like, ‘All right, I’ll start collecting some of this footage.’ I have the footage. I was like, ‘Hi, nice to meet you. You don’t know me, but can I get this?’ It was you, Mackie, I think Renner, Sebastian, and I just said, ‘Look, everyone, just dance for 30 seconds,’ and you did it. You were a great sport. You willingly danced with little explanation from me, and then I never completed the video. I just abandoned it. But I got that footage of our first day of meeting of you dancing.”

This hilarious revelation came through Variety’s latest episode of “Actors on Actors” which featured the two MCU stars as they talked about their career with Marvel Studios and beyond. To think that there’s a humiliating video of Captain America: Civil War stars jamming it to Evans’ song before going on to clash with each other in front of the camera and we’re never going to see it.

Apparently, Evans has found the video, though he’s too embarrassed to show it to anyone. Here’s how the rest of the conversation went.

“I must’ve blocked it out,” Rudd replies. “I don’t remember it at all.”

“I’m sorry, I found it,” the man behind Captain America reveals. “It’s unbelievable. I can’t show it — it’s way too embarrassing.”

“Is it bad?” Rudd asks, grinning.

“Oh, it’s so bad.”

One thing’s for certain; we definitely want to see that video now. Evans may yet decide to share it with us on Twitter, as the actor has continuously used every opportunity to engage with fans amid the current pandemic. But I guess all we can do for the time being is wait and see.

Watch: Spider-Man Fan Film Places Miles Morales Into Sam Raimi’s Trilogy

Ever since the magnificent animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduced Miles Morales to the world at large, he has become a considerably more popular character, and is soon to be seen in his own game Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Building on his newfound renown, a fan film simply titled Miles has been released, the imagining the newest Spider-Man on his first crime fighting outing.

The film uses images and deleted footage to place it in the in the same universe as Sam Raimi’s trilogy. A month after the death of Peter Parker in an explosion at Oscorp where he battled Electro, Miles makes the decision to use his newfound abilities in an attempt to fill the gaping void left by the hero’s absence and restore hope to a city quickly losing it without their web-slinging paragon.

After Miles locates a team of thieves led by Shocker and a gender-flipped version of obscure villain Rocket Racer, who break into a warehouse to steal some of the Green Goblin’s weaponry, he soon discovers whether he has what it takes to be a superhero.

The short was written and directed by filmmaker Tarrell Christie, and was apparently made for a mere $500. Although the judicious use of visual effects (also by Christie) doubtless lowered the price tag, it’s still a spectacular achievement to have made something this high quality so cheaply.

It wisely skips showing Miles attaining his abilities, and tacitly suggests that with the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man out there he didn’t feel the need to immediately turn to the life of a vigilante. Only after the hero’s death does he first don a mask, with the short’s events detailing his first attempt to take down villains.

Like Peter, Miles is someone with powers, but lacks the training to properly use them right away, making his victory in the various fights far from inevitable conclusions. The film also briefly explores why some people turn to a life of crime, there often being more morally ambiguous motivating factors than simple greed, sadism, megalomania or just generic evil leanings.

Fan films come in a multitude of quality levels and understanding of source material, but this version of Miles Morales and Spider-Man is up there with the best of them, and promises greater things to come from the creative team behind it.

Watch: New Clip From Netflix’s The Old Guard Delivers Mid-Air Action

In anticipation of their new action movie, The Old Guard, hitting Netflix in July, the streaming company has released a short clip showcasing what fans can expect from the new Charlize Theron film. From the looks of the clip, I’d say Theron hasn’t lost a step.

The scene in question shows Andy (Charlize Theron) testing a possible recruit named Nile Freeman. Shooting a fight scene is hard enough, but try doing it from the confines of a fake airplane cabin. Despite the challenges, the choreography and camera work are excellent.

With an emphasis on action, The Old Guard appears to be following in Extraction’s footsteps with marketing that highlights the set pieces. As you can see, Theron is no stranger to action having been the protagonist in both Mad Max: Fury Road and Atomic Blonde.

She clearly loves doing the fight scenes too because you can see that it’s her performing. With so little room to move around, the actors and filmmakers can’t take a seat while their stunt doubles make them look good. Theron is doing most if not all of the fighting and she sells it. Even after taking a few licks at the hands of Freeman, Theron never feels afraid of losing control.

The Old Guard follows a group of mercenaries who go where they are needed. The catch is, they’re immortal. Despite the fantasy aspect to the story, Theron could relate to the source material.

Despite constantly getting injured in these movies, Theron keeps coming back. On Atomic Blonde, she clenched her teeth so hard she had to have major dental work to repair some of them. On her newest film, the actor tore a tendon in her left thumb. Now that’s one committed actor.

The Old Guard debuts on Netflix on July 17th.

Hereditary Reveals The One Scene That Really Messed With His Head

The effect of some movies, especially in the horror genre, can last long after the credits role. Anyone who’s watched Hereditary can vouch for just how creepy the movie is and how its unsettling vibe lingers. But sometimes the cast and crew are just as vulnerable to this phenomenon as the viewer.

Alex Wolff who played Peter Graham, the brother in the nuclear family, is really put through the emotional wringer throughout the film – and being a part of those intense scenes understandably left its mark on the actor in real life. While Wolff’s character does not endure the most gruesome physical fate, he is part of one scene that is exceptionally disturbing. Anyone who’s watched the movie might be getting flashbacks of it right about now, it’s definitely not for the squeamish or feint of heart. I shudder to think about what nightmarish bits were left on the cutting room floor.

Without spoiling anything, the sequence involves a car accident that plays out to a disastrous outcome. It easily makes the top 10 list for most scarring movie moments of all time. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Wolff spoke about how that particular scene stayed with him for a while after shooting wrapped.

“I think it did mess with my head in the moment,” Wolff said. “I think the whole movie was kind of difficult. It kind of stuck with me. I think that scene in particular definitely stuck with me at least for a few days. But I think that movie was like a constant attention-taker. I think it haunted me for a while.”

The actor even said that the cast and crew did not try to compensate for the dark tone of the shoot with jokes or lighthearted banter. It was strictly business on set, which helped him stay in the zone.

“For me, sometimes if they’re trying to make it too light, it’s kind of distracting. So, I sometimes have to just stay in the zone. I kind of just was wearing my headphones and trying to stay in the spirit of it. I think it’s sometimes too hard to completely jump in and out.”

It’s no wonder the film was being hailed as one of the scariest horror movies in years after its screening at the Sundance Film Festival. Ari Aster, the director of Hereditary, went on to release another horror movie in 2019 called Midsommar, which was just as unnerving and critically acclaimed. It starred Florence Pugh in one of the lead roles, who we’ll be seeing later this year in MUC’s Black Widow.

The MCU’s A-Force Assembles On Awesome Promo Art

Ever since Avengers: Endgame gave us that epic scene of all the MCU’s female heroes teaming up to face Thanos, Marvel fans have demanded an all-female team-up movie, maybe based off the A-Force team from the comics. We’ve had no official news on the subject since Endgame came out, but the studio definitely knows it’s what we all want. Case in point: a Marvel Studios 2021 calendar will put the heroines of the franchise in the spotlight.

This leaked promo art for a 12-month calendar labelled “Stronger Together” features what we’ll call the A-Force lineup, who featured in that Endgame scene. From left to right, you have Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Shuri (Letitia Wright), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Rescue (Gwyneth Paltrow), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).

Though we’re still waiting on an A-Force film to be announced, at least we know nearly all of these characters will be back in the MCU before too long. Okoye and Shuri will return in Black Panther 2, Gamora, Nebula and Mantis will appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Carol Danvers will lead Captain Marvel 2, Hope Van Dyne will be in Ant-Man 3 and Valkyrie’s coming back in Thor: Love and Thunder.

The one who’s first due to show up on our screens is Wanda Maximoff in Disney Plus’ WandaVision miniseries, which is supposed to arrive this December but may be delayed. Olsen will then return in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. She’s not featured here, but remember Scarlet Johansson’s back as Black Widow in her own movie this November.

Highlander Reboot Director Says The Film Is Still On Track

The reboot of Highlander has a long history, apparently going back to at least 2008, and has been variously attached to the likes of Justin Lin and Ryan Reynolds to direct and star, among many others. John Wick director Chad Stahelski has been attached since 2016, and was still talking up the film back in December 2018. Stahelski has now announced that Highlander is still happening, and that the production may finally be close to getting underway.

The director had this to say about where things are with Highlander right now:

“We’re in heavy development mode on Highlander. Tweaking the scripts, writing, conceptualizing sequences, how we’re going to do everything. We probably have a lot more in-person kind of things, but it hasn’t slowed down our development process at all.”

Of course, this could mean many things, especially since that a script from Colony‘s Ryan J. Condal was reportedly ready in 2018 for a then planned 2019 release. So, we’d take Stahelski’s comments with a grain of salt, even though it’s clear that he has a lot of love for the property. Indeed, back in 2017, the filmmaker was even talking about turning the Highlander reboot into a trilogy, and wants to bring the same spectacular actin from the John Wick series to the immortal-themed franchise.

For those not in the know, Highlander kicked off with Russell Mulcahy’s 1986 original picture, which sees Christopher Lambert’s Connor MacLeod as an immortal warrior having to deal with rivals to be the last of their kind. The 1991 sequel was, by many metrics, a creative disaster, although we have had three more instalments of varying quality, with the most recent being in 2007. In the 1990s, we also received the long-running Highlander: The Series, as well as various other media.

As to whether the reboot of Highlander is going to happen anytime soon, we may have to patient, given the many ups and downs that the project has experienced over the last ten or so years. It’s also worth noting that Stahelski is down to work on John Wick: Chapter 4, while producer Neal H. Moritz has, as usual, many different projects in development. We’re still confident, though, that something will eventually come out, although we’ve been disappointed with this one before.

Benedict Cumberbatch Eyed To Play Prince Charles In New Diana Movie

Last week, it was announced that Twilight star Kirsten Stewart had been cast as Princess Diana. Stewart will portray the late matriarch of the British monarchy in an upcoming biopic which is going to be titled Spencer and will be directed by Pablo Larraín. Now that production has settled on a leading lady, the internet is wondering who will play her husband, Prince Charles.

According to UK news website Express, many British actors are being considered for the role. At the top of the pack, its reporters say, are Doctor Strange lead Benedict Cumberbatch, whose odds of being cast are rumored to be as high as 0.625 to 1, as well as Loki actor Tom Hiddleston.

Their runner-up, according to Express, is Spider-Man actor Tom Holland, whose chance of being cast is listed to be 7/1. Given that the movie will follow Diana’s ending her union of holy matrimony with Prince Charles, who was close to 50 at the time that scandal took place, however, the prospect of this role falling into the hands of the teenage Holland not only seems unlikely, but inappropriate.

Speaking with reporters over at Deadline, Larraín said that he is approaching this famous pop culture headline like one would a fairy tale. “Usually,” he said, “the prince comes and finds the princess.” That said, “when someone decides not to be queen, and says, I’d rather go and be myself, it’s a big big decision, a fairy tale upside down.”

Larraín could not have picked a better time to produce this film. Ever since Prince Harry followed in Diana’s footsteps when he decided to leave the royal family in favor of living a normal life with his American actress-wife Meghan Markle, popular interest in the British monarchy grew greater than it had ever been before.

Captain America And Wonder Woman Share A Dance In Awesome Fan Art

Marvel and DC unite once again in a new fan art which depicts Captain America and Wonder Woman sharing a dance in their respective superhero costumes.

When it comes to the world of superheroes, there are some of them whose importance takes precedence over the rest. Steve Rogers and Diana Prince are a prime example of this, one of whom is the leader of the Avengers and the other an integral part of the Justice League. And thanks to the cinematic universes of both parties, the two characters have also had a huge presence in pop culture over the past decade. Captain America made his debut in 2011’s The First Avenger, played by Chris Evans. Meanwhile, Gal Gadot brought the Amazonian Goddess to life in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman in 2016.

While the two don’t share a lot of similarities at first glance, there are many narrative elements that bind these characters together. For one thing, when you take a look at their initial cinematic outing, the stories both took place in a World War and featured a guy named Steve who sacrificed himself by blowing up in a plane. Even the sequels, The Winter Soldier and WW84, include a plot point where a loved one (Steve Trevor and Bucky Barnes) returns from the dead.

It would be pretty amazing to see the two team up at some point, even if it’s in one of those strange crossover events. In Alon Chou’s rendition of this confrontation, as seen above, Captain America and Wonder Woman seem to become pretty close, which would have unfortunate implications for their love interests.

At any rate, the story of Steve Roger may have come to a close in Avengers: Endgame, but Wonder Woman still has a long way to go with saving the world from catastrophic events, the next chapter of which will arrive this October.

Ford’s new F-150 revealed with hands-free driving and hybrid options

Ford has revealed the 2021 model of the F-150, and many buyers will find the newest version of the automaker’s super popular pickup truck stuffed with technology. The new F-150 will have an optional hands-free driving mode, be capable of receiving over-the-air software updates, and come with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The company will also start selling a hybrid version of the 2021 F-150 that can travel about 700 miles on a full tank of gas.

The hands-free driving feature — which Ford calls “Active Drive Assist” — is the same that’s coming to the Mustang Mach-E electric SUV next year. That will make the F-150 one of the only vehicles in the US that has hands-free driving when the feature is available, along with Cadillac’s...

Facebook has a fringe conspiracy theory problem, and it’s getting worse by the day. According to a new investigation from The Guardian, the far-right QAnon movement continues to flourish on the social network, despite its attempts last month to begin removing accounts and pages promoting it.

The investigation, by journalist Julie Carrie Wong, details in depth how QAnon account and page owners caught wind of Facebook’s crackdown in early May and the clever methods they relied on to avoid detection. Earlier today, Verizon announced its participation in a growing advertising boycott of Facebook and Instagram, in part it appears because its ads continue to show up next to QAnon content.
