Avengers: Endgame is a special kind of film. And that’s something we can say with complete confidence – despite the fact that it’s still roughly two months away from hitting theaters.
Because after 21 movies (Captain Marvel included) and more than 10 years of MCU goodness, Endgame is exactly that, the final chapter in the saga, one which will conclude the arcs of many of our favorite characters – Pepper Potts and all. As such, it’s small wonder why fans have already started to clear up their calendars so they can catch the pic as soon as possible. But why stop there? Why not start getting your wallets ready, too?
According to a recent find over on Reddit, tickets for Endgame will go on sale in just over a month. To be more specific, you’ll be able to purchase them beginning on April 2nd. Of course, that date is subject to change, but it makes complete sense and if indeed it’s legit, it means we should see a major marketing push kicking off next month as Marvel does everything they can to ensure those pre-sale numbers are through the roof.
Speaking of which, the promotional campaign for Endgame has (so far) focused on the raw, heart-wrenching emotion still present after Infinity War (“we lost… all of us”), opting to ignore the glitz and glam that’s often synonymous with a blockbuster trailer. It’s an interesting move, and one that means we’ve seen no real action, no explosions and definitely no snippets of Alan Silvestri’s Avengers theme song. At least, not yet.
Whether that’s all on the way or not, we’ll have to wait and see, but what we can tell you with absolute certainty for now is that Avengers: Endgame touches down on April 26th, and for better or worse, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will never be the same again.
