‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ director responds to leaked poster

If you’ve been on the internet within the last twelve hours, then the chances are high you’ve seen a Thor: Love and Thunder poster making the rounds, which was first spotted as part of a store display before being uploaded online, where it quickly became one of Twitter’s hottest trending topics.

Based on nothing more than the art style, it’s clear that the image is intended for promotional purposes rather than actually being the first one-sheet for next summer’s Asgardian blockbuster. However, nobody appeared to question the veracity of the image; we all just took it for granted given that major Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbusters suffer from their fair share of leaks.

Tom Holland teases intense Green Goblin fight in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’

Willem Dafoe may be 41 years older than Tom Holland, but the veteran actor is set to give as good as he gets when he makes his triumphant return to the world of Marvel blockbusters in next week’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Sam Raimi’s Green Goblin had been heavily rumored for an appearance in the multiversal epic from the second it was confirmed the narrative would hinge on villains descending from alternate realities, and Sony eventually decided to let the cat out of the bag in an official capacity when we heard some ominous intonation from Dafoe’s Norman Osborn in the second full-length trailer.

‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ director teases an even crazier Jim Carrey performance

The internet has become obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog 2 ever since the first trailer for the sequel arrived online, with fans combing through the footage, picking up on all sorts of Easter Eggs and references to some deep cuts of the video game lore.

Then there’s the sexy Knuckles scenario, which has seen director Jeff Fowler voice his surprise at how many people have found themselves worryingly attracted to an anthropomorphized echidna, even one that boasts the syrupy smooth tones of the endlessly charismatic Idris Elba.

Keanu Reeves reveals his reaction to being offered ‘The Matrix Resurrections’

While sequels Reloaded and Revolutions failed to stick the landing after the first installment turned out to be one of the most acclaimed and influential blockbusters around the turn of the millennium, The Matrix still drew its three-film arc to a definitive conclusion by having Keanu Reeves’ Neo sacrifice himself for the greater good. Or so we thought.

Of course, we’re just ten days away from The Matrix Resurrections coming to theaters and HBO Max, and while we’ve seen two full-length trailers, several TV spots and the first official clip, the specifics and machinations of the plot are being kept deliberately under wraps so we can uncover the mysteries for ourselves.

Brie Larson reacts to hilarious ‘Captain Marvel’ fan art

Brie Larson will be relieved The Marvels has finished shooting, after fans were left in awe by the impressive feats of strength revealed by the Academy Award winner on social media as she shared videos of her intense training regimen for the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel.

Captain Marvel may have earned over a billion dollars at the box office to go down as one of the highest-grossing non-Avengers movies in franchise history, but it wouldn’t be unfair to suggest that fans don’t hold Carol Danvers’ origin story in the greatest esteem, something the cast and crew will be seeking to rectify when the second installment arrives in February 2023.

Marvel didn’t own the rights to Ego when James Gunn wrote ‘Guardians Vol. 2’

The complex rights issues surrounding the Marvel Comics back catalogue is a legal and contractual minefield, one that’s caused just as many sleepless nights for the suits in the boardroom as it has the filmmakers left wondering if they’ll even be able to use a certain favorite they’ve got their eye on.

Things are so dense that even specific powers pertaining to a hero or villain could potentially be owned by a studio that doesn’t actually hold the rights to the entire character, and it sounds like an absolute nightmare trying to sift through the small print to try and determine who can do what with whom.

Daniel Craig finally addresses the ending of ‘No Time to Die’

Now that the dust has settled on No Time to Die, with the 25th installment in the James Bond franchise having been available on VOD for well over a month after becoming the highest-grossing Hollywood blockbuster to hit theaters since 2019 thanks to a hefty $765 million box office haul, fans can now begin to reflect on the legacy of Daniel Craig.

The actor brought 007 kicking and screaming into the modern era, reinventing the iconic character as a troubled and deeply flawed human being haunted by the ghosts of his past. His tenure also saw the series adopt its greatest sense of continuity yet, with the events of Casino Royale fifteen years previously still weighing heavily on No Time to Die.

The news that director Destin Daniel Cretton was returning to helm the sequel to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings didn’t come as all that much of a surprise, but it was still much-welcomed by Marvel Cinematic Universe fans everywhere.
