Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will see James Marsden returning to theater screens as Tom Wachowski, the titular character’s father figure. Many fans will undoubtedly recognize him from his role as Cyclops in the X-Men franchise, and Marsden insists the two roles aren’t that far off from each other.

After spending years stuck in development hell, we’re finally getting an exclusive glimpse at Owen Wilson’s character in Disney’s Haunted Mansion (2023), which began filming in mid-October 2021 and wrapped production back in February 2022. The upcoming horror-comedy is being billed as a reboot and will serve as the second film adaptation behind The Haunted Mansion (2003).
And, going by this first glimpse, Disney’s Haunted Mansion certainly looks promising and aims to honor the faithfulness of the original adaptation while borrowing significant inspiration from the theme park attraction at Walt Disney World. In the film, Owen Wilson portrays Kent, a priest that is hired by single mom Gabbie (Rosario Dawson), to help rid her newly-purchased mansion of ghosts.

The Truman Show was one of the most important movies in Jim Carrey’s career. But with The Truman Show, he proved that he had genuine dramatic chops. Sure, the movie is still essentially a comedy, but Carrey’s Truman Burbank is a tragic figure.
Now, Carrey has revealed he jumped at the chance to star in the movie and said yes almost immediately. Speaking with Screen Rant, the comedy legend said:

Now, almost thirty years later, Smith is finally teasing the long-awaited release of Clerks III.
Speaking at WonderCon, the filmmaker responded upon being asked when the sequel is coming out:

The Wonder Woman actor revealed that he’s met with director Matt Shakman, “who I really like”, and is just all-round excited to dive back into that world.
Ever swallowed something by mistake? Science now has the answer in the form of a piece of disgusting-looking magnetic slime that will worm around inside your body. The breakthrough was made by scientists at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with New Scientist reporting that they mixed “neodymium magnet particles with borax, a common household detergent, and polyvinyl alcohol, a kind of resin” in order to create a controllable slime.

Judd Apatow isn’t having a great week. First he posted a now-deleted and much-mocked tweet claiming that Will Smith “could have killed” Chris Rock by slapping him at the Oscars. Now his new Netflix Original movie The Bubble is getting destroyed by critics.
The comedy sees a group of actors (including Karen Gillen, Pedro Pascal, and Leslie Mann) struggling to film a movie during the COVID-19 pandemic. The film centers on the cast’s frustrations with self-isolation and the strict rules placed on them by the studio. Faced with endless days in front of a green screen, the actors get bored, miserable, and begin to squabble.
One of the most useful skills an actor can have these days is being able to convincingly interact with a CGI character. This is by no means easy, especially as in many cases they’ll be represented by a tennis ball on a stick, and you won’t see your CGI co-star until you’re at the premiere.
James Marsden did a great job with this on Sonic the Hedgehog and by all accounts has repeated the feat with Sonic the Hedgehog 2. He’s discussed what it’s like to work with ‘Sonic’ in an interview with Digital Spy, saying:
HBO Max’s Batgirl has been shooting on location in Glasgow, Scotland over the last few months and has given us some great insight into what the movie will be like. We’ve seen Leslie Grace in full costume, practical stunts being performed, lots of set dressing that fleshes out the DCEU, and some very fun in-universe newspapers. But now it appears that the shoot is coming to an end, with Grace marking the occasion by posting a hilarious Instagram video.

Spider-Man: No Way Home made the impossible a reality by adding Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s respective Spider-Man to the Marvel Cinematic Universe along with the popular villains from their fictional realities. This possibility fueled the imagination of many MCU fans who have cooked different tantalizing scenarios of Marvel characters joining the Spideys. YouTube content creator Nerdy Talk With Dan, whose recent videos are filled with Marvel fan edits, has answered the much-speculated question — “How would Miles Morales react in Spider-Man: No Way Home?” — with an amazing fan edit of the character entering MCU’s Earth.
In the run-up to Avengers: Endgame‘s 2019 release, many MCU fans assumed that either or both of Tony Stark/Iron Man and Steve Rogers/Captain America wouldn’t be there to see the credits. Both Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans had previously indicated that this was their MCU swansong, and what better high to go out on than this jaw-dropping finale?

The four Spy Kids movies are seriously underrated, being not just great children’s movies but also experimenting with VFX technology, and featuring a surprisingly star-studded cast (with Danny Trejo’s Machete along for the ride).
So it’s worth celebrating that Spy Kids is officially coming back. Deadline confirms that Netflix has closed the strongly rumored deal with Skydance and Robert Rodriguez for a “reimagining” of the franchise. The last entry was 2011’s Spy Kids: All the Time in the World, which is probably the low point of the movie series. Things improved with Netflix’s animated show Spy Kids: Mission Critical, which consisted of two seasons, both in 2018.
Netflix’s fictional period romance drama Bridgerton took the world by storm when it debuted in 2020, and season two has followed in similar footsteps, with Simone Ashley taking on the lead role for the latest storyline. As the British actress gains new heights of fame for her role, she is also confirmed to star in another love story: Disney’s live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid.
As reported by The Disinsider, Ashley will star in a currently unknown role. With reports that the film would feature Ariel’s six sisters, and with the studio aiming to cast women of color, perhaps the actress might have snagged one of the roles.
In his ongoing four-year development deal with Netflix, David Fincher enlisted Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton to star in his upcoming thriller, The Killer. While scheduling conflicts of the leads prevented filming in 2021, Fincher’s latest endeavor has finally finished its long-delayed production.
In an Instagram post, Dwayne Barr, a member of the film’s camera crew, shared that the film wrapped up shooting on Sunday, March 27, and thanked cinematographer Erik Messerschmidt for the wrap gift he was given.
