What is the Ideal Opening Combination For India for the First Test? Is Mayank Agarwal a certainty? Will India go with Prithvi Shaw as his partner? What about Shubman Gill?
Fast bowler Mitchell Starc is returning to the Australian cricket team in time for the first cricket test against India beginning Thursday in Adelaide.
Rohit remained unbeaten on 208 off 153 deliveries (13 fours and 12 sixes) as India amassed 392 for 4. They restricted Sri Lanka to 251 for 8 recording a massive 141 run victory. One of the many surprise announcements that Disney made at the company’s Investor Day event this week was Lightyear, an upcoming Pixar movie that acts as an intriguing spinoff of the Toy Story franchise. Instead of following the action figure we all know and love, it’ll star the actual Buzz Lightyear, as in the original Space Ranger that the toy’s based on and will explore his cosmic origin story.
The news came with a first look image from the movie, which reveals Buzz’s redesign for the film. And that’s not the only thing that’s changing about the character, as Tim Allen won’t be returning for the project, with Avengers star Chris Evans instead taking over as the voice of the hero of Star Command.
We all love Evans, sure, but the news of him replacing Allen has generated some controversy online. Multiple generations by this point have grown up with his performance as Buzz in all four Toy Story movies, which span from 1995 to 2019. As such, many are not here for someone else stepping into the iconic role, even if it is Captain America himself.
So Tim Allen just ain’t buzz anymore? pic.twitter.com/n4BbmxMi4O

“There’s no Buzz Lightyear without Tim Allen.”
No

There’s only one Buzz.
There’s only one Buzz Lightyear, and that’s Tim Allen.

Some folks are picking apart the logic…
I really hate this with every fiber of my being. Human Buzz Lightyear voiced by Chris Evans is the stupidest thing ever. Why would the toy sound like Tim Allen when it’s based on someone that sounds like Chris Evans??? Also it just looks… bad imo pic.twitter.com/780cItABul

Of course someone had to post this quote.
You cannot make a #BuzzLightyear film without #TimAllen voicing Buzz. I'm sorry, you just can't. pic.twitter.com/Hs15qcctMF

OK, a round of applause for this tweet, please.
Chris Evans pushed Tim Allen off a roof and now he's the new Buzz Lightyear

Big claim.
Replacing Tim Allen as the voice of Buzz Lightyear is almost as bad as replacing James Earl Jones' voice as Darth Vader. Change my mind. pic.twitter.com/sLgeR94OJ5

On the other hand, some aren’t so bothered by the casting change. Allen has always been a divisive figure, after all, due to his criminal record in his youth.
Tim Allen wasn't asked to come back is buzz lightyear because Disney knows that he pleaded guilty to felony drug trafficking charges and provided the names of other dealers in exchange for a sentence of three to seven years rather than a possible life imprisonment.

Breaking: Chris Evans to star in a Home Improvement reboot!
Personally I say replace Tim Allen with Chris Evans in every role he’s ever played.
— The Volatile Mermaid (@OhNoSheTwitnt) December 11, 2020
In an Instagram post following up the announcement, the Captain America star made clear that he was apprehensive when he was offered the part as he felt that “no one could ever touch [Allen]’s performance.” However, he was convinced upon being pitched the concept behind the movie. “Everyone can rest easy,” he promised fans. “This one is special, and it doesn’t step on a single thing.”
What are your thoughts on Lightyear, which is coming in summer 2022, though? Let us know in the usual place below.
Check India vs Australia A 2020 2nd Tour Match Live Score, India vs Australia A Streaming Online IND vs AUS Day 2 - Sydney: Rishabh Pant and Hanuma Vihari put themselves in the reckoning for next week's first Test with contrasting hundreds as India thoroughly dominated Australia A in the pink-ball warm-up match here on Saturday
Former Australia opener Chris Rogers expressed confidence that toporder batsman Will Pucovski can bounce back from a concussion that ruled him out of the first test against India in Adelaide.
Tim Southee took the second fivewicket bag of the first innings as New Zealand forced the West Indies to follow on 329 behind Sunday on the third day of the second cricket test.
Hanuma Vihari and Rishabh Pant have warmed up for the daynight test with pinkball centuries against Australia A as Shubman Gill put forward a strong case to debut at Adelaide Oval. After a fan jokingly questioned Luke Skywalker’s ability to properly fly an X-Wing without having any prior experience, Mark Hamill himself chimed in to explain the matter.
Star Wars fans tend to give Rey a hard time for being a “Mary Sue,” which means essentially knowing how to do everything without training first. And that’s not an invalid claim in the context of the Sequel Trilogy’s narrative. From the moment we set eyes on her, Rey shows an impressive aptitude for almost anything that comes their way. Whether we’re talking about flying the Millennium Falcon through a crash-landed Star Destroyer, bypassing the ship’s compressor to Han Solo’s bewilderment, or even using the Force despite the fact that she lived most of her life unaware of its existence, the protagonist has always been an adversary to be reckoned with.
But when it comes down to it, Luke’s hero journey was similar to that in a lot of ways. The young Skywalker not only held his own against trained Stormtroopers but he also singlehandedly destroyed the Death Star in the Battle of Yavin. How do they achieve these miraculous feats, you ask? The Force, duh, though some still aren’t convinced. For instance, a fan recently took to Twitter and questioned Luke’s flying chops by sharing this post:
I'm ready #spaceforce! Ready as Luke was to hop into an X-Wing with no training whatsoever but somehow still flew it through trenches and blew up a whole space station @HamillHimself pic.twitter.com/q5qKZhh261
— Duncan (@duncan_on_air) December 8, 2020
Of course, the Last Jedi himself soon responded the only way he knew how, explaining:
Whadda ya mean "no training whatsoever"? I used to bullseye womp-rats in my T-16 back home! #TrueStory https://t.co/FvBy3a0plJ
— Mark Hamill (@HamillHimself) December 9, 2020
While the thought of a young Luke inside a T-16 skyhopper obsessively trying to shoot down Tatooine’s womp-rats is hilarious in and of itself, we can’t help but wonder if that’s really why he was such a skilled pilot. But to make matters simple, let’s all agree this is canon now that Mark Hamill has deemed it so.
Prithvi Shaw flattered to deceive again as, after a stellar 29-ball 40-run assault in the first innings of the pink-ball tour game against Australia A, better things were expected from the Mumbai youngster, but he went after a wide one early in the second innings and fell for just three
Kyle Jamieson took his second five-wicket haul as New Zealand ripped through the West Indies batting lineup to leave them in dire straits on 124-8 at the close of play of the second day of the second test at the Basin Reserve on Saturday.
As India successfully wrapped up the T20I series 2-0 against hosts Australia, the focus now shifts to the all-important Test series that will commence from December 17 at Adelaide

New Zealand vs West Indies 2020, Live Cricket Score, 2nd Test, Day 2 at Wellington: Tim Southee to Darren Bravo: OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! A very, very soft dismissal and Bravo walks back. He will not be happy and he seems in disbelief as he walks back slowly to the shed! Fantastic reflexes from Southee to take this catch so quickly. Full and around off, Bravo looks to push this to the off side but it comes off the inner half of his blade and lob uppishly back towards Southee, who is upto the task and he stretches his hands out and grabs it out of thin air. 22/2
